The new Orange Android phone (San Francisco) £99...but a Question??

Sigh, battery ran out at lunch time.

I hate the way the battery level stays at one level until you start using it, then it drops like a stone, it's almost as if it doesn't update the level when it's sleeping.

Never had that problem.

Selling mines off too. It's been a good phone but after coming from such a good touch screen to one like this, it just annoys me too often. That and the texting on this phone is awful.

I have found that as well. Well, since the first day I got it really. Having used my iPod Touch 2G for so long before, the touchscreen on the SF doesn't feel as responsive to me. Browsing as well on the iPod feels better to me.

Good phone, no doubt considering the price, but I think I need to move on!

I came from an iphone 2g which had a fantastic touch screen and worked well with texts which meant i could put down a good word per minute. On this phone it just seems to get confused, lock up and then the auto dictionary kicks in just ends up putting a mess on the screen.

For features and ease of use, yes it's a fantastic phone. But the little details are where it matters for me and this phone just doesnt have it. The build quality seems a bit off too. I have a good collection of small fibres and dust under my screen (this is with it in a pouch)

So glad I have the HTC hd2 now. Running froyo with sense and its amazing. Even though its not oled screen it still amazes me. Also nice that I can use flash and FireFox. Games don't have any trouble running. The build quality is black and white compared to the sf. And best of all it only cost me 156 quid.

i can just about put up with it, apart from the crap battery life and the wireless keep cutting out and the unusable radio on it as its such low volume...

Install same way you installed the previous clockwork, then you ready to install SS5 i believe :)

Did you have to use photoshop for that elaborate work :D

I didn't know that 3.0.2.8 had been released as it is still showing an earlier version on the threads page with no update log that I can see.
