****Official Fallout New Vegas Thread****

I havent played this since finishing it when it first came out but had a bash this morning and didnt have any glitches so maybe the patch has done its job .

Yup that's on Xbox. Been playing this afternoon for about 3 hours now and it's not been too bad though, I haven't had any micropausing or stuttering which is nice. The PS3 version was pretty horrible, I hope they fixed it.
 
Ps3 version is still bad, slowdowns and lockups but I still enjoy the game.

I read on a local techsite the patch 1.3 causes problems for the 360 version though, people not being able to load savegames and lockups.
 
No problem with saves here but it did give me a message when I loaded up, saying that certain objects wouldn't be available in my game because I was using DLC that is no longer available.

Meh, I wish I didn't start playing this again, it's got me in the mood for some FO3 except I sold it along with my PS3. Just bought Alan Wake so I shouldn't buy another game just yet... :(

I was playing earlier and started a new game with over 3 hours gametime and didnt get any lockups unlike when it came out i would have had plenty of them .
 
I think they just need to make a game with their own engine. FO3 was a buggy POS as well... shame because the actual game is amazing and one of my all time favourites. :(
 
played this last night for the first time since buying it 3 months ago!

in general the latest patch 1.5 seems to be getting good comments on the fallout forums , still think there may be freezing problems but just not as much.

played for a while last night without any problems!

I'm still trying to gather the motivation to play. I completed it following the NCR story the other day and now I've reloaded a save where I can choose between Yes Man, Legion, House or NCR, it's right where you have to go around all of the smaller factions and do all of their tedious quests... I really cannot be bothered. :(

Especially because I went to Nellis thinking that I could just gain their trust and then do the sidequests later but apparently not. I went there, spoke to the boy in the museum and got loads of fame from speech challenges, then I just chased all the kids around the outside of the base and gave them rocket toys and passed some speech challenges and now the only Boomers quest that is open to me is raising the plane from the bottom of the lake.

:(

I wanted to go and kill the giant ants and get the unique grenade launcher.
 
Make a seperate new game where you befriend all the side factions (except for BoS) and then save. You can then do all the other ending achievements after that in about an hour.
