Best graphics driving game?

seems so, its a sharp looking game. Id still say dirt 2 and soon to be dirt 3 beat it

No please debate your point. I for one would love to know how you have managed to get a console game looking better than any pc racer :confused:

Nobody has made pathetic responses, they have only stated facts which tyou have so far not had a response to. This is likely due to the small matter of yourself being completely wrong. This isnt a horrible forum as in the last year or so ive had help building my rig,recommending games,overclocking and having some good general banter.

Having played both dirt 3 and hot pursuit I'd say they are pretty much the best looking racers out/coming out.

Dont you think you're a bit of a hypocrit saying someone is a ***** for pointing out that you are wrong when you are saying its a horrible place?

Please explain how the console games have better graphics than the mentioned PC titles with fact and not opinion?

My first thoughts of GT5 were this looks crap.
Not to mention it taking ages to load each menu.

To be honest ive seen his previous posts in the forza threads and seems a bit of a fan boy. Think its a case of defending his favorite and is hurt that its not the prettiest. He is actually quite insulting to other members in the console section (from my perspective) so its not just this place that is "horrible"

And please tell me how an opinion can be wrong? We are not all texture, resolution whores. I prefer the look of FM3 and GT5 to any of the PC games I've seen.

I also prefer playing FPS with a pad. Is that wrong too?

No one has insulted you to that level, just pointed out that there may potentially be something wrong with your eyes

The title of the thread is "Best graphics driving game" So textures and resolution as you mention are valid

If you prefer the look of the weaker looking titles then that is your preference and that cannot be argued but it is a very odd preference as they plain and simply do not look better, that is a fact that anyone can observe, saying otherwise is quite simply a very odd thing to say

Forza 3 has a very faithful style, i get that and i get that it's the style that i-bert appreciates. However the console dont have the grunt to pull it off to the level the pc does with pc racers. lack of aliasing and framerate wins in a driving game for me, regardless of whether i think forza3 is 'realer' than shift 2 which I do. I love forza 3 and i can forgive the shortfall because it such a good driving game, but still at least in the graphics department the pc nails it to the wall.

Nobody went to that level, well the original question was which racer has the best visuals and you said forza was better looking than any pc game. so res and textures come into play. also both games suffer from jaggies so how can these look better? what is it you prefer about them? how do they look better? explain this and we may actually understand. also fps with a control pad isnt as accurate and would get nailed online but if that what you prefer then thats cool, enjoy your slow sluggish aiming
