They seem really easy to upset as well! They have vilified me on both my playthroughs despite me not even trying to pee them off. Bunch of touchy noobs. :o

I don't know what I did to pee them off but I came across a group of them and they attacked me. I thought "That's not on!" and so carried out a massacre at the Correctional Facility.

Also, Honest Hearts and Lonesome Road both seem to have good premises. Not so interested in Old World Blues.
 
I didn't like it either. It starts out okay but the final two thirds are very monotonous and a real grind to get through. If I had my time again I wouldn't bother with it.

Haha! :D :D

I *think* I remember what got them so annoyed at me now... I killed the black dude at the beginning of the game, instead of letting the villagers do it I killed him and his gang and then they hated me, then after that I killed the guys in Primm and they just vilified me. Oh well, their loss. :p

I seem to have encountered some kind of glitch. When I approach enemies they just disappear when I get close.

So nice when I'm trying to do the last damage trophy that I need :mad:

Could try reverting an earlier save I guess. :(

Oh and Davison, the Nightkin leader in the Come Fly With Me quest killed me earlier for apparently touching Antler, even though I didn't... :(

I'll go back once I've been to Gun Runners... :mad:

I went back and did him in the face with the Mysterious Magnum, I love that gun. :p

Cleared my cache last night so I can do the Ignacio Rivas bug for unlimited Stimpaks, Doctor's Bags and XP. Sure it's a cheap way to level up, but I already completed the game and I cant be bothered grinding for XP again, it'll be a quick way to get to level 30 that's for sure.

The easiest way to do hardcore is decrease the difficulty and just stick to the main quests so it makes it easier and then go back on non hardcore to roam about and complete other quests and challenges .

Does that mean you played the game without it patched or didnt they patch that glitch ??? is that magnum the one you get with a speech challenge with the guy with the guitar ??? that weapon is a BEAST :D .

I will do it on hardcore if I can be bothered, I was going to try for 1000/1000G on this but I don't really know if I can be bothered any more. I'd probably just go on YouTube and look for a speed run if I was doing it on Hardcore though.

I played it with the patch, but I think on 360 if you clear your cache it will delete the patches, I think something like this was recommended by the developers themselves recently, when their latest patch screwed up a lot of people's games.

And yup that's the one, thought the Mysterious Stranger theme gets a bit annoying after a while. :D
 
I have just picked up the official guide book for a fiver so hopefully this will help me along with hardcore mode. Getting fed up trying to find doctors bags everytime I get crippled..

You could use the glitch at HELIOS for unlimited Doctors Bags if you're just doing it for the achievement. :)
