Supplements the debate/discussion thread

there are plenty of places which will employ you if you are on a student visa, and tell the government you only work 16 hours a week, whereas you do a lot more and pay cash in hand. there are millions of students doing this, i know some who just come over here on a student visa, dont even bother going to uni and just work instead.

i know this for a fact. you may not get an amazing wage (less than minimum, aim for £4 to £4.50 an hour) but it will be better than nothing.

also, you could look at cheaper accommodation or sharing a flat with more than its supposed to be used for, for example i know 3 students living in a 1 bedroom flat. this makes their rent extremely cheap, because its split by 3 and not 1.

i know a lot of international students working 40+ hours a week where there visa only allows for a max of 16.

Not everyone wants to live in a hole while breaking the law risking their education and getting paid peanuts with no rights though.

Bloody hell Sonny, get off his case :p Heaven forbid he wishes to do things legally whilst not living in a cave with a bunch of weirdos, eh!

PS forgetting that he lives in some bubble again by the looks of it. Just because you see things in your area doesn't mean it is reflective across the globe.

offering him some advice on his situation, i didnt know he was an international student, they are extremely hard done by.

international students here have to pay 10-20 times the going rate on fee's.

sorry for letting him know how he could make some money illegally, if it wan't for this countries stupid policies he wouldnt have to resort to such things.

anyway, if you find the laws too restrictive, you dont need to follow them, people download music and movies on a daily basis and nobody bats an eyelid, god forbid he tries to make some money.

there is next to no chance of getting caught, its between him and his employer.

his employer isnt going to grass him in because that would mean the employer being hit with huge fines, and i dont think he would grass himself in.

plus who else would know he works more than 16 hours there?

hrm.. decisions.. which pre-workout to use first... I think it will have to be C4!

you imported just 1 tub?

how much did that end up costing for the 1 tub altogether? did you get hit by duty? sometimes it can take a week or two before you get the duty letter through the post, gutting when that happens and you think you got away with it.

Yea got hit with £13 import duty, wasn't expecting it tbh as it worked out around £22 without.

I disagree, plenty of people fast for 8, 16 even 24 hours with no negative impact.

Muscle gain is 80% training I'd say, 20% diet.

Body composition, however, is the opposite: 80% diet, 20% training.

Agree. I've been fasting 16 hours a day for almost 6 months now and I'm leaner, stronger and fitter than before. I look better too :p:D

Yup, nevermind hopefully it's good. If it is I'll order from predator nutrition in future.
