Hi guys, looking to build a new budget PC with a budget of around £500 (Possibly a little more) with a monitor. Currently a little unsure on the Mobo as im looking to do a little bit of over clocking and not sure if that mobo is alright for it,if anyone has any suggestions for other parts that would be fine as well. So far this is what my spec is looking like this

and a Benq E2220HD 22" LCD Monitor which is £122 which they dont seem to sell on OCUK :(

Haven't included a heatsink but i will be buying one, also not included things like fans, DVD drives or HDD as i will be reusing the ones from my old build to save a little bit of money.

Thanks

Thanks for your input it is appreciated, how well do you think the phenom would overclock on that mobo?

Over budget so personally I'd probably stick to the phenom but if you want sandy bridge heres an option:

The mobo can be had down to 100 if you pick a differnt one but that is quite a good one for the price. Personally would probably take a phenom with a 480GTX over sandybridge if you're on a budget.

Also just realised I didn't include a heat sink haha, fail. Add another £20 on ;).

They are very old reviews though now. Not sure how well they handle current cpu's when overclocked tbh. Must be a reason it's so cheap.

Probably the same reason OCUK were selling the Antec truepower 750w cheaper than the 650w version, buy a huge amount in and sell cheap?

Actually, whats wrong wrong with the heatsink supplied with the Phenom? its copper based etc.
