Any one explain the preorder 'Back to Karkand' deal?

Will the 4 maps included not be eventually made available to customers not preordering?

I'd have thought they will be, but not straight away. Either that or they'll sell them as DLC within a month or so of release.

I'm sure the'll be unlocks or cheap DLC, otherwise it would divide the player base... Say the server map changes to Karkand, and you don't have it (it will prob be on the disk as well FFS) what happens? Kick?

They could do what arma 2 does. have a lite version of the map with low res ugly textures and if u want it to look properly u have to cough up the money for it or pre order

I am guessing that they will put karkand out as DLC. It is too good of a map for them not exploit for some extra $$

I hope they riddle this game with good DLC,not just the odd costume and a few guns tweaks,having said that i hope the game is not stripped to much on release

it will be like moh and bfbc2 content. yes youll get kicked or not be able to join server fullstop.

I can tell this is going to be a console port or built from the console version which wont make it as good as it should be...

Because EVERY single big new game sequel which first came out on the PC then the sequels that come out on the PS3/Xbox and PC SUCK... This Multiport support screws things up bigtime as they have to also focus on the Console side of things rather than throwing everything they have on the PC version.

I know its always about money but if they didnt have this also coming out for PS3/XBOX it would be an amazing game.

time will tell...
