Well this looks awesome!.. Asus Eee Transformer Tablet

Im unsure on the release for just the dock, but it will be worth the wait when you get it :) Mine came in a bundle box, with both the tablet and keyboard in the same box, i thought i'd been sent the wrong one, until i opened it :) will upload an image in a bit, showing it just opened :D then tomorrow when its lighter with its connected properly :)

Excuse the quality, ZTE Blade/San Francisco :D

Just what I was thinking :)

One problem I've come across since playing around with the dock is that the gallery doesn't refresh when you put in an SD card. Will have to see if I can get an app to auto refresh it.

I put in a micro SD card and everything is fine :) only an old 4gb from my phone to have music on it :D

Haven't got a full SD card to try so i can't really see for myself :)

How are you finding it compared to your old netbook DefiantAsh? Just as useful?

Even more useful :) i like 3.0 and all the apps and I'm excited for the Google books app that should hit uk/EU android market soon hopefully.

I need a case for the tablet alone though so thats my next thing I want :)

Also i like the games, not many would work on my netbook :)

And i know about the pixel job ;) oops!

I bought this case for it from the bay for £5:

Really nice quality, but as it's designed for general 10 inch tablets the transformer is a bit loose in it as it's widescreen. I think if I get a little bit of packing foam or something in there it will be perfect.

I've got an old Neoprene case I used to use with my old Dell Mini 10V, the Transformer fits very snugly in that so maybe look at netbook cases which are designed for widescreen netbooks rather than 10 inch iPad ones.

Anyone received an Update for their transformer?

I cant see anything about a May release for 3.1, and my pad is on 33% battery so cant install :(

Will update later :D

I got a firmware update of some sort this morning for my Transformer. Couldn't work out what it was.

Still claims to be running 3.0.1 though.

Very much so.

Felt a bit of a bell-end using it on the train this morning, I still rekon that it (and similar sized devices) are no good for use on trains. But I'm using it in the office as a notepad/email/calendar device and it's very handy so far.

I rekon it'll come into its own for my next business trip abroad. I think the natural habitat for a tablet PC is the departure lounge at London City airport.

:)

Today's update should have been new firmware for *both* the tablet and dock incidentally. It fixes a few dock issues, suck as freezing and wifi disconnects. Can't say I've suffered from either yet, but some people have.

Have to say the same :) everything is fine here, had a few launcher force closes on the last firmware, but none as of yet for the new one :)
