The fist rules :p:D the only problem i had was you like it that much you start using it when you would be better off with a different weapon ie a gun instead of running toward people smashing them in the face and taking damage at the same time LOL .
 
I wish they'd just let you play the game after the main quest. I don't even care if it doesn't tie in with the choices I made in the main quest, I just want to be able to carry on playing instead of leaving the main quest unfinished. I guess it was easier in Fallout 3 because the only real difference was if you added the chemicals into the purifier or not. But I'm sure they could come up with *something*...

I don't find it a big issue, I played the four endings and went back to an earlier save and continued that doing all the sidequests and collecting stuff.

I went to Dead Wind Cavern yesterday, a lot of Deathclaws and the Legendary Deathclaw one-hit-killed me :o
So the 2nd time I used all kinds off chems and did a sneak attack critical with the Anti-Material Rifle with Incendiary rounds and two follow up shots and killed him just in time :cool:
 
Yeah it's not a big deal really, but it annoys me knowing that there's an active quest in my Pip Boy... :p

The Deathclaw Alpha Male 1 hit killed me, so I doubt I'd last a second against the Legendary Deathclaw. :o

I was at Quarry Junction just sniping some Deathclaws when this weird dark one came running at me, I hit him a few times which didn't seem to do much and then he just smashed me. :(
 
I think I'm going to go wandering the wastes before I do all the endings... as said there is probably a lot that I have missed. Also got the damage achievements to do...

My save is at 100 hours atm... wonder how high it's going to get... with 2 more DLCs to come yet too :D

Well I finished the DLC...

It was short... according to my save it was just over 5 hours... taking into account reloads/deaths and a little mopping up I'd say around 6.5 hours in all. Although I didn't do a super amount of exploring...

I'd say if you are a hardcore Fallout fan like me it's worth it, but I'm buying both the other DLCs (June and July) whatever happens :D Maybe not as worth it if you aren't super into Fallout.

As for the DLC it adds a few weapons (which are available outside of the DLC afterwards too), items, raises level cap by 5, adds rain and fog to the game and you can go back after the DLC is finished.

As for the actual content of the DLC I enjoyed, I thought the story was good, as were the characters. Tbh though I love fallout a lot so anything that adds anything to the game is a win for me :D

I don't want to give anything away or ruin it for anyone, So I'll leave it at that. But feel free to ask anything... :)

No, the only guns are a .45 Auto Pistol and SMG, the Unique .45 Pistol is quite good though, with the highest DPS of any pistol, and the .45 SMG is the highest DPS of the SMGs too. Oh and a Unique laser pistol that paralyses on criticals.

Not as long I would say. The side quests all sort of go together while in F3 there were more side factions.

Or it seems that way to me anyway :)

The other day I went to buy L.A Noire and noticed F:NV was now sold for £13 new :o That is quite a drop.
 
Yeah I'm not sure how long the DLC lasts on New Vegas but Fallout 3 and the DLC's lasted pretty damn long, probably one of the longest console games I've played. Point Lookout was my fave, though The Pitt was pretty cool as well.
 
Played a bit of the DLC today, really liking it. Not sure what the weather adds though. Difficult to play this and La Noire though!
 
Did anybody else notice, that the further you get into the game the more it freezes and crashes?, I dunno if it's the game or the PS3 3.61 update that's causing it
