Black vans for under £3k

Skeeter, you seem to love ripping into Mikes threads

Yep, its great fun.

But in my defence, there is no way Mike could have thought posting such a narrow specified thread wouldn't get people asking about why he needed it. He would have known that it would happen and that he would end up talking about his new 'business venture', and he would also know fully what response this would get him. He didn't post a simple spec me thread, he posted a seed he knew would grow into another one of these threads because he loves the attention of it. And he has got exactly what he wanted out of it.

I mean are you seriously suggesting Mike isn't able to search for black vans on his own without help? This thread was posted to spark controversy and argument, and it has done exactly that.

What i dont understand is the need to ask for advice on here, knowing full well the response which follows every single time.

I refuse to believe that Mike actually needed advice about how to find vans. I bought a van a few months ago and was there a thread? Of course not, because finding vans is easy and obvious.

I dont get it. This isnt a place to come for advice on most topics when you are beyond being a new driver asking for advice on first time car buying and basic things like this. That or specialist advice where you know that a member here is an authority on the subject.

I think regulars generally just use this forum as an easy search solution. To hell with doing the leg work yourself, get some of these hardened Googlers to do it for you!

He was a bit of a fool by not knowing how to use the AT search function but Fox pointed him in the right direction.

Yes, granted sometimes he asks for it but I don't agree with every thread crumbling into anarchy simply because it was posted by MikeH.

You want an old van with crap paint that you can use as a showpiece for your detailing company?

Buy any van, the best you can afford and get it wrapped or resprayed after you have fixed the body work.
Otherwise you will look no better than a window cleaner....... or is that the business?

It's not every thread, just the iffy ones.

Trouble with Mike is that the latter and the former appear to be the same :p

Clio thread was a classic, Mike had finally done something right and purchased a car, only to lie about it's tyres. It's classic Mike, trying to make things better so he seems like a hero yet it always backfires.

Shifty, are you on Mikes payroll too?
I'm just a guy he knows with a Veyron. :p

I've stood up for him twice now, sometimes the flak is granted but this pointless trolling whilst adding no value to the thread is a bit pathetic, really and I've seen your name at the forefront on many occasions, iirc.

The simple point of this thread is there is no point in this thread.

Mike does not need help finding black vans.

You must then question his true motives for posting this thread...

Older likely more tatty black van.
Best quality van in any colour for the money.

I know which presents a more professional image. Hint - It's not "WOW a black van!" and more likely "Hey, that guy picked the best platform for his payload and does not look like a muppet getting it out/in"
