I cant imagine Aguero putting in a transfer request if he did not have a deal lined up.

After being courted for years by many top clubs and then now suddenly wanting to leave but not having something sorted is unusual.

Neither of those two seem to be favourites of Jose plus of course it's not always the manager that signs the players at Real

One thing you should never look into when it comes to Real Madrid transfers is whether or not they need the player or not ;)
Yeh i guess your right.
Would love Higuian at City, a truly world class striker imo.

Your not wrong :)

There is no way on this earth that Spurs have gazumped anybody for one of the hottest young players on the planet, for free.
For the lad to of gone unnoticed by the likes of Arsenal, Madrid and Manchester United and then to top it all off he has supposedly been at chelsea for a fortnight, and they were all really impressed but nobody could make a decision?

Bull****.

well, believe it or not, it would appear to be true

A lot of reports tonight that we've either tied up a deal or close to agreeing a deal to sign Friedel on a free transfer. He'd be decent back-up for Reina but in Gulacsi, we've already got that. Although it might allow us to loan Gulacsi out for a year to gain experience.

We're still looking for a goalkeeping coach so it might be a player/coach role for him too.

Are these the talented youngsters that Harry never plays because they are so amazing that Spurs would be kicked out the league for fielding players that were simply too awesome so it wouldnt be fair on everyone else?

Seriously, just read the article, one of the best young players IN THE WORLD, who the world famous, renowned for nurturing some of the the finest players on the planet Barcelona dont want any more because he is a bit mardy?

And then to top it all off he has gone unnoticed by every major club scout in europe and EVEN THEN has somehow managed to impress everyone at Chelsea to the extent he was training with the first team and everything and was really great but nobody was able to decide if the wanted to sign this really awesome player......

and this world class youngster, who Barcelona cant be bothered with and Chelsea wanted but couldnt find anybody with a pen while he was there STILL manages to escape the clutches of some of the finest youth scouts on the planet and world famous Barcelona youth team letcher Arsene Wenger..... somehow ends up at spurs with nary a whimper?

HMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.
Calm down Doris

I think I'd die from internal Jizz-combustion if Arsenal were to sign Higuain, which would have the double bonus of them leaving Benzema where he is. :p

One can dream.

He's an excellent 20 year old Hungarian keeper. With Reina still young for a keeper, I can see us having to let him go in a couple of years as he's/he will be too good to sit on the bench.

I still think Dos Santos is an outstanding player and would do well in the Spurs first team in place of Crouch.

What was it harry said? if he could pass a nightclub the way he can pass a football he'd be an excellent player?

and so did rooney :D

Rooney never actually handed in a transfer request though, he simply said he wasn't going to sign a new contract and wanted to leave

IIRC Tevez went one step further and actually submitted a transfer request before withdrawing it

Munich TZ said:
Independiente's Argentine teenage sensation Sergio Aguero says he would prefer to join his boyhood club and Champions League holders Liverpool rather than German champions Bayern Munich.

Last week Bayern confirmed their interest in the 17-year-old Aguero, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or a striker, but the Argentine talent is holding out for a move to English side Liverpool.

"If I had to choose a league then it would be the Premier League," Aguero is quoted as saying in the Munich TZ newspaper.

"I have been a Liverpool fan for as long as I can remember and it would be a dream to play there.

"I watched the Champions League final and celebrated every goal as if it was for Independiente."

Well, we can dream? :p
