I cant even see why Chelsea would be interested in Harry tbh.

He's only got Spurs into the champions league once and in the season we were in it, didn't even get us back in it.
 
a part of me would feel slightly relieved if redknapp went tbh. i know that sounds a little ungrateful due to what he's done for us but has he really done it? he's more of a front man who has a lot of help behind the scenes and i really feel he can't take us much further, he doesn't really have any tactical skills required to continue to be pushing the top 4. i would rather he went out on a high than become the bad man.

Worth saying, that the comment is probably down to legal reasons re: sacking of the previous agent and him seeking a payout.

Weren't Spurs bottom when Harry took over? I don't understand Spurs fans; finishing fourth and getting as far as they did in the Champions League is a MASSIVE over achievement for Spurs.

They don't have the squad or money to be competing with the top four each season, no matter who their manager is. Because they over achieved so much last season, Spurs fans now feel its their right to be in the top four - ain't going to happen I'm afraid.

I can't see this happening tbh. I love 'Arry to bits but he's not the manager Chelsea are looking for. Harry's laid back "Go out there and do ya best" approach won't suit them and I don't think he's got quite enough expereince to take a team to top place in the PL nor for European CL success either. IMHO, I think they should have stuck with Ancelotti. 2nd place isn't to be sniffed at and only consistency will reward them the success they are looking for, which they only had a season before this.. Mad!

I sadly agree with this. I thought our entry to ECL came a season too early but it depends on how serious Levy is on taking the club forward. my guess he's rather tentative as others around him fall in debt with the crazt transfer money and high wages.
 
Have to say I think he's a marquee WC signing. He plays in the Russian league I don't think he'll be that good in the EPL. So not sure why there's excitement about him.

And no, I'm not bitter about Arshavin before anybody contemplates saying it. :p

i appreciate all he's done for us but he really doesn't have any tactical skills and there's only so far putting your arm around a team can go. if you look at how many games we've drawn when we should have won, you'll see where i'm coming from. there is something wrong with that. if we sign parker or adam, it'll be another reason for me thinking he should go.
