MW3 Banned in the UK ?

anyone thinking that someone who was actually on one of those 4 tube trains (or involved in the cleanup) wouldn't get effected by this needs to get real.
given that London is now probably under more threat now than it has been in the past few years its all a little close to the bone and reeks of controversy for the sake of it.

Isnt it just a chase scene with a carrage getting derailed? Really its getting blown out of proportion. We dont seem to bat an eyelid when its set in other contries or other historical events.

Sorry for this post, but

Why would ****ing MOTHERS care when the game is ****ing 18 so to speak ? Women are ****ing me right off lately.

THE GAME IS RATED 18. ADULTS SHOULD PLAY THIS GAME ONLY, IF MOTHERS HAVE A DAMN PROBLEM WITH THAT THEY SHOULDNT LET THEIR GOD DAMN UNDERAGE KIDS PLAY THE GAME IN THE FIRST PLACE FFS

+1

i wasnt even gunna buy mw3, but now i know its got some english stuff in im more likely to buy it.

English stuff, you mean location? To be fair if they were to play the modern warfare series they would see the story is nuts and very far fetched. the daily mail jumped on a few screen shots with the london underground and train in it. no actual hint of terrorism

I hate the daily mail. As other have said the people who are complaining are the same ones who buy COD for the 11 Year old children. Just waiting for this to be discussed on a day time tv chat show...

True, cant wait to see the discussion on loose woman. Below a comment from a typical daily mail reader

"Another vile game that will infiltrate the homes of young children by older siblings and weak parents. Yes parents should be responsible..but too many aren't. Still if it makes lots of money who cares what it portrays or how many vulnerable young minds get hold of it."

This is propaganda for mentals

We're far too willing to pander to people's sensitivities in today's society. It's pathetic.

I'm sorry to the families of people that died, but please don't try and impart your terrible experience on everyone else's lives. It won't help your grieving and is basically just ****ing annoying.

pretty harsh, they were probabaly not very well informed tbh. Its still a subject that causes a lot of grief and if it was infact carrages and buses being blown up d be slightly alarmed but its not. Getting turned into something from nothing really

Bunch of whining as always "mothers" against something get a grip. Its a game set in Fictional WW3 featuring omg a tube train not real life.
It better not be banned or watered down to please these pathetic women. Infact im going to suggest activision add a chapter where you mow down lots of them at there mothers against violence convention give them something to really moan about.

which bit?

Ironic sentence is ironic.

Basically it's a level where you go into a Sikh holy site for one of the missions, it's the controversy which Robbie G also alluded to. A quick google for hitman 2 sikh or controversy should give all the details. But basically the level got patched out.

The hitman 2 censorship was retarded, eidos should have asked the Sikh community why they weren't bothered about all the other ethnics killed in the game, before showing them the door.

Literally all they have to do is ignore the game and they'll never be exposed to the horrors within. Is that really so hard for them? Disregard game, mind own business, continue about life. I don't want people I've never met making decisions about my entertainment on my behalf.

its like religious people asking for homosexuality to be banned, even if they do it in the privacy of their own home.

What people goes on behind closed doors is their own business, if you don't want to be offended, don't go looking through their windows. Its only potentially offensive if its done in public in such a way as to deliberately offend people.

But this game won't be played on a massive screen in hyde park to offend lots of people, it will be played on peoples game consoles away from sensitive eyes that might be offended by it. The same logic applies
