That would suck - but at the moment there is no UK pricing - I wouldn't be surprised if they were right :(

then get a galaxy 2 then :D doesnt look like apple will be bringing out anything to touch it for some time after todays little show
 
also got to wonder if we do get itunes match, will it restrict it to content ripped via itunes ?

I've got loads of albums that were ripped using windows media player before i got an ipod. Itunes currently refuses to look up tags for these songs so i can easily see them refusing to include them in itunes match.

That means digging out my CD collection and re-ripping them all using itunes :(
 
I can't see them getting rid of iDisk, and I use my mobile me mail and the rest so hopefully it will be fairly simple to move over to iCloud with minimal fuss. :(

Oh yay, I still have a 3g so I don't get any of the iOS5 stuff...well expect maybe on my iPad. :o

Oh, iCloud will be world wide, but I was meaning iTunes Match. I hope it does come to the UK.

Also, they have just removed mobileme. Our accounts will stop working on June 30th and we wont have iCloud until September at the earliest. :p
 
Just watched the Lion video on Apples site, like the fact that it can be purchased via the mac app store but tbh most of the new features really wont appeal to me

Mission Control - I only ever really have 1 (3 at the most) apps running at one time, how many people have as many windows as those in the vid running all at the same time? I guess if you use you mac in a work environment you may do but I would imagine that's still in the minority

LaunchPad - is this really that different from that Apps stack in the current dock? Ok you can create folders ala iOS but it's not a massive difference is it

Having said that the price will probably convince me to upgrade regardless :o
