Here's one for the annoyed MobileMe users, I signed up for the free trial last week at no cost to me. Checked my account just now and:

I wouldn't waste my time as of yet tbh, it is highly doubtful they'll know. The online services are so far removed from the retail stores they are effectively two different companies.
Anyone care to tell me how this cloud is going to work for people with multiple devices on 1 itunes account?
Ex: I have an Iphone and a Imac, gf has an Iphone ..
Its going to be pushing all of our pictures and stuff to each other isnt it? Not very useful

Apple has announced a new service called iCloud which will be available this fall and free for iOS 5 and OS X Lion users. When you sign up for iCloud, you'll be able to keep your me.com or mac.com email address and move your MobileMe mail, contacts, calendars, and bookmarks to the new service.
When iCloud becomes available this fall, more details and instructions will be provided on how to make the move.

Well the other problem would be regarding the Ipad, i didnt mention it because its a communal machine anyway but, its only 16gb, our Iphones are 32gb.
Between us we have about 19gb of pictures and video .. hello completely full up Ipad!
Becoming more and more worried about the transition of MM to iCloud...
Loss of iDisk, Loss of Aliases, and not a scrap of solid info from apple as to what the replacement will be (if any). You would have thought they would have had all the answers to hand to reassure customers surely?

I cant believe they are leaving such a huge gap for anyone new to have this service. I ended my mobileme back in March.
Still so so confused about it all. I have a gmail account with all my purchases on and a mobile me account that I can't merge and now I'll be getting an icloud account where I can merge just one of those accounts.

Talk on Twitter saying iTunes match is going to be US only and iTunes in the cloud might stay US only after beta.
I can understand the former as they might only have licensing for US, can't see iTunes in the cloud being US only though.
