Kinect looks so gay when he's saying things on the dialogue wheel. And whats the point of saying 'Name, move up' etc when you can do it with a single button press anyway? After the Nth time of having to say it, nobody is going to use it as it will become an irritation.
Gameplay looks pretty epic as you would expect, but a bit worried that it shows several on-rails bits as well as indications that they've tried to make the fighting more 'awesome' - worrying after their DA2 attempt. Good to see they've got armour and weapon customization in the game though.
Looks great overall, engine seems to be noticably improved in terms of lighting. Combat looks good. Still a dubious sign of simplicity with things like big glowing arrows when you're behind cover telling you which way you'll move out of it, but hopfully small things like that are the extent of it. Still looking like a day 1 for me.

kinect looks completely unnecessary, "slow time power" was a soldier specific ability in mass effect 2 so no change there, it doesn't hurt for the game to tell you which direction you will be leaving cover, if the game plays like mass effect 2 but with more combat options I cant see a problem, aside from removing the levelling system I cant see how bioware can "dumb it down".

My fears if any are on the character performances and interaction in this new game, that aspect has been fundamental to my enjoyment of the series thus far.

As a games device I am a bit "meh" about kinect and can take it or leave it, however as a bit of tech it is lovely. I am certainly interested to see what some smart devs can do with the kit especially if they make the software changes to allow full video streaming to double the resolution.

Love the Mass Effect series.

Looks like we wont be getting the big leap as we did from ME1 to ME2, it appears to be more of the same. That's not completely a bad thing.

Kinect stuff..yeah..totally pointless for PC gamers.

That trailer worries me, TBH.

I'm concerned we're going to end up with "Gears of Mass Effect War", especially all the diving about, big melee weapon and driving/shooting aspects. I hope I'm wrong, and they've just done it to "big" the game up, but even the Eurogamer preview shares my scepticism...

We had lots of vehicle combat in ME1 and ME2 was nothing but cover->shoot, and if you played as a vanguard in me2 charge->shotgun->melee was your staple. I don't really see anything wrong with the demo so far, plus they've got plenty of time to finish and polish the game. I'm expecting nothing less than game of the year 2012 from bioware with this one, they need to finish the story on a good note.

The trailer suggests you're now against Cerberus, I wonder if that's set in ME3, or based on the end of ME2?

The most important thing for me is the story. They REALLY must not mess that up. I've read all the books twice, and complete ME and ME2 several times each now. I get so drawn with the story, love it!
