Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm :)

I guess some purists may shudder at the thought of an RS500 becomming 4WD, but I'm all for it! :) What a fantastic job you're doing - that's a minter! Gorgeous!

I've just done a 3 door replica for a customer, it was a 'self prep' job that I ended up prepping myself although this was done to a very tight budget so there is a few bits 'n pieces on it that I wouldn't have on a car that I'd been paid to do properly. That said it does look a billion times better than it did, it was BEIGE :( and he's totally over the moon with it.
It was a 2lt but he's putting 200 hp v6 in it, cossie interior, mostly original parts he's sourced from forums, e-bay & ford events.

All pics taken by the customer, I know it's a fake, so does he, he's just a young lad into his fords and can't afford (ha ha ha) a real one, and to be fair it does look decent.
He worked with me a couple of days on it prior to painting, he masked it and he's fitting/ed it up after. He's just a few tricky bits to source bonnet vents & jacking point covers.

interesting regarding the hydraulic clutch. been told by a few guys this is one of the best mods on a cossie. :)

love the look of the 3drs. :) got a mate building a rep. well....i say a rep... eventually will have everything except the cosworth name on the logbook. :)

2.3 engine though? doesn't that leave the distance between the pistons more likely to blow at high boost though?
