Haven't seen much of Falco but quotes of £20m + is enough to end that speculation.

Clearly you haven't seen much of him - he's a quality finisher.

How anyone can baulk at transfer fees in this day and age is beyond me - Phil Jones £16m+, Jordan Henderson £16m, Andy Carroll £35m...etc....

That's the beauty about football and personal opinion. Whenever I saw him play in his favoured position he did well and so did Arsenal.

Unless you are his agent then you don't know anything about how much he is asking for or what has been offered. You certainly like to mix up fact and fiction in your little spouts. You quote stats left right and centre on here and then quote paper talk or rumour about players like you were in the room chatting with the player.

Or do you only quote facts when it suits you best?

Personally I think Nasri will go from strength to strength over the next few years. Just because you think we should replace every single player with Eboue doesn't mean that is the right decision. A player that is happy to sit on the bench and take his money. And when he does come on he just falls on the floor and embarrasses himself and the Arsenal fans. That is the type we want. I think I would ask for more money if I were in Nasri's shoes :p

He must have got around 15 goals for the season in total. Sounds above average to me? What league are you watching when the below average players score 15 goals? I really want to start watching that league

Wow, I like how you try to make it sound like 15 goals in the league is above average, and that, goals are all there is to the game. Firstly he got 10 goals in the league, not bad but he wasn't top scorer in the league, infact 10goals is, as I've been saying, just about average for the main winger at really most clubs in the league. So average goal scorer, what about assists, no pretty much rock bottom of the wingers assist chart. What about when he played in the middle in Cesc's absense, oh, dropped out of most of the cups, lost a final, lost a bunch of games, dropped from comftable 2nd to a poor 4th. Please explain to me what he did that was exceptional.

To round up for you, average wingers scoring, terrible terrible assist stats, invisible in Cesc's absense, team was rubbish with a much poorer record with him in the middle? So we should make him the best played player at the club...... really?

then you accuse me of acting like I was in the room and know more than others, 99.999% of this thread is rumours, but I post info in the media, that seems very likely to be close to accurate and you call me on it, in a thread basically purely about posting info the media is spouting?

For the record today its being said that as before Nasri was on 50k a week, the contract he was given basically doubled his salary, this was ages ago, he stalled on the contract and has since asked for 20k or so more, and that Arsenal are looking likely to give in to his demand. What magical info do you have that suggests this info is wrong?

I want Eboue to play in every position? no for over a season I've been saying he should be sold as 50-60k a week on a guy who started what, 4 games this season, is ridiculous. If you knew anything about Arsenal, you'd know the players LOVE Eboue, he's the heart and soul of the team off the pitch, it could be a big mistake to lose that kind of personality as we don't seem to have a replacement for that.

So to sum up, everything you posted was utter tripe right?

I'm kind of in agreement with DM.

Nasri is "alright" he's nothing amazing, and as such shouldn't be paid top draw for it as you then get top dogs wanting twice what he's on kind of situation, like Chelsea / City.

Eboue is clearly good for team spirit and moral off the pitch, (I've not seen much of him this season) but over the last few seasons has served as decent back up for the RB spot.

I'm not keen on Nasri at United, nor Chelsea or any other top team, he's "alright" and very inconsistent.

Also, this is a rumours thread where lots of people post rumours and "media facts" about wages and such, don't shoot DM down over it :p

There I am, defending DM... can't say it happens too often.

He signed days ago, just had to wait over the weekend because the papers were with the PL. 5 year contract is great for both him and Man U as well. They'll be very happy he's agreed to that!

Checking in from my hols, I see there was an attempt to hijack the jones bid or something? Was never happening really. Pleased it's been confirmed. Sort the midfield next.

Tummy you should know that agreeing with DM means you're automatically wrong. Nasri isn't world class yet but he's a lot better than average. He was absolutely unplayable for about 3 months in a row, it was mad!

Steve Kean said it can rise to above £20m

BBurn where prepared to offer him the biggest contract ever for a Blackburn Player!
