The first "networked" game I played was Doom - out of hours on the company network.
The first real multiplayer online game I played was Ultima Online - starting to play when it was still beta in the US and me having to connect at 28.8k

Medal of Honor Allied Assault, still one of my favourite online games to date. Freezetag Round based matches were brilliant.

my first ever online multiplayer game was unreal tournament 99 if i remember right. it got me hooked on the unreal series since, however i must say im still not impressed with UT3. its diabolical compared to 99 and 2004.
