TF2 gone free to play

Unless you're a Spy imo, because without the various watches to cater for different situations you won't be able to adapt to the situations on the maps.

That and I don't understand how the ambassador has a downside if you can aim for the head :p
 
Does anybody know any good servers for total n00bzors like myself. Had this game for ages but never played it and now my mates all have it for free so looking for somewhere friendly where we dont die instantly all the time.

The extra weapons that you can find/unlock (or buy if you want to) are available to all. Each alternative weapon has advantages and disadvantages

You can still easily top the score board with all normal weapons, it may look like a steep learning curve at first, but it's all fairly simple and worth getting into :)

Great Vid. Dislike that its gone free to play. But doesnt bother me as i stopped playing when they started adding extra rubbish and making it a bloated piece of crap game.

Why could it not have been like TF Classic :(

How is it bloated exactly? Giving people choice to fit their gamestyle, or customise their character is bloat somehow? :confused:

Also its not like tfc because its not a simple update, TF2 was about 10 years in the making, whats the point in releasing the same game with a graphics overhaul? There is none.

It's still the same bloody brilliant game it always has been, 90% of the fun factor for this game is finding the right server and the right people to play with. I've had some of the biggest laughs of my gaming life playing this game, and made some good real life friends too. And if anyone can point me out any other team based hat simulators of this maturity and variety I'd like to hear about it.

I for one welcome our new free loading friends and hope they find and partake with some of the great communities out there. Now, what hat should I colour with this pink paint.

Just had the urge to play this, 10GB.. think I'll just set it off DL'ing tonight.

Remember when this game was like 5/6GB.. almost doubled in size they've added so much content.

Awesome.
