Dancing in clubs

I've been gay clubbing loads, one of my best friends is a faggot (i call him this to his face). Most of the time they can tell you are not gay and just leave you alone, if you like dancing so much that is the place to go. Plus - there are loads of straight fag hags that you can crack onto - this is NOT a myth.

Otherwise, avoid any places where people are mainly drinking. Go to somewhere that plays techno/electro/house as most people will be on ecstacy, and I don't think I have EVER seen a fight in a place like that (and I've been a lot)

I've only had this once, and they seemed to go after me because apparently "I look like I can put up a good fight".. Suffice to say my scottish friend intervened at the right moment haha.

I am taking notes from all these videos :D

I think I might have been to a gay night once ages ago. I always feel a bit uneasy, the whole point in having a gay bar is that it makes it easier for them to meet others of the same persuasion. So I feel like its unfair for loads of straight people to rock up.

avoid loughton OP, usually fights break out there.

Sugar Hut in Brentwood is ok, but it's a bit pricey and everyone in there seems very into themselves.
That's fairly typical of anywhere trendy and expensive. Half the point of being there is that you are into yourself. I prefer that than scumbags tbh.
Go to a gay club, problem solved
Agreed :p

I wouldn't think you were being unfair. There's not many venues that are turning people away so a few straights letting their hair down are only going to add to the fun!

dont be a dingbat

10 years been going out in wigan, zero stabbings to me

/me touches wood

last time i went down king street i heard someone got stabbed because the guy wouldn't give him his subway samich.

i used to only go there for 10 mins to get a pizza.

Been going up town for a good few years now and Never really had a problem.

Last thing that happened was me and my dad went into a pub, and got "Started upon" by 3 ***** lads who thought we were disrespecting them. We walked away but none the less i was absolutely fumming!

Just go to good clubs with decent DJs on and reasonable priced drinks, the ***** wont go there because the drink is too expensive, everyone else will be too happy due to numerous drugs.
It's win/win. (Apart from expensive drinks)

This. The solution is to stop going to crap clubs.

In 14 years of going clubbing I've seen about 3 fights break out, all of which were instantly broken up by doorstaff and the undesirables swiftly ejected.

When I jumped in to get between them they all turned on me and punched my glasses off my face. After a little while I was looking for my glasses on the floor and this guy ran up and kicked me in the face.

LOL!

Sorry, don't mean to be rude, it's a shame you had your night out ruined, but that is a hilarious quote.

Usually if you go to a club where people go because they like the music being played, rather than just because they like the beer then the crowd will be more friendly?

True, I like a dance and when I was at a random trance/techno type club, after a few hours I was thinking to myself how good the atmosphere was and you can just dance/do you own thing and get on with it, then it dawned on me :D
I ended up staying there for the duration, one of the best dance/club experiences i've had to date.

Strangley one of the worst clubnights ive been on was a Cream do at Nation, I really wanted to let rip in the hard house room, but it was full of drunken idiots doing what I can only describe as violently moshing. That aint any kinda fun!

I usually gravitate more towards the 80's room in mainstream clubs, much more fun for dancing, more girls and less idiots :D

I only ever get girls laughing at me, weather its cus im so damn gorgeous or its just the fact i suck at dancing, who knows?

One the things i do not miss about going to clubs is the grief that i got when i used to dance. I just wanted to dance in peace but people would always get in my way on purpose and just generally try and cause a conflict. Often i would have guys actually slowly stand right on top of me or just push me completely. Some people are so pathetic that they would walk right towards you and then bump in to you if you don't move.

Clubs or even squat raves are pretty pathetic now, they have the regulars that go there every week and they don't even dance, the regulars at trance parties are the biggest creeps and losers around, god damn wannabe hippies. They don't dance they just take drugs and try to spike peoples drinks.

I would not mind going to a more relaxed type of club that has couches and no dance floor where poeple just sit around and talk and listen to chilled out dnb, but i don't think there place exists. clubs are only as good as the people in them and most people that go to clubs, to the ones i have been to, are not worth the effort.

None of you Essex boys go to Romford? :P
I live in romford, Romford has clubs ?

Any problems and I get my mate tyrese to POP the orange smoke.

When they bring the rain none of these fools survive!

Never had this problem, at least not that extreme and I always dance when I go out.

This true story is the best defense:

Worst I have ever had is someone trying to take the **** behind me and a couple of mates and I happened to turn round and catch him tryin to be clever. We then bust some moves so good that it draws a crowd and he gets embarrased for being a douche and all his mates and everyone else in the club starts laughing at him and loving our silky smooth moves.

*Disclaimer: The above may not work if you can't actually dance.
