Current account balance? Was is yours.

You guys who say its a bit private....Just dont answer?

For me I like to always have my account on the right side of £100. And I'll never let it drop below.

I get a nice wage in every week, so I'm well over that. BUT, I'll never drop below. I'd rather wait a week to pay a bill, than drop below £100

No chance OP. That information is between me, my Gods, my bank manager and my wife.

On the topic I don't get why you need to leave that much in your current account. Stick spare money in your savings and just enough of a buffer so you can get it transferred in time if needs be.

Would you like to know my pin number and bank account details too?

That pic made me laugh out loud. :D

Anyone holding more in their current account than they need for the day in cash withdrawals, is peeing lost interest up the wall. Likewise with people paying on their debit cards for transactions that don't charge a credit card fee.

Why bother with the hassle?

Everything goes straight in to my current account... I like fritterring it away on a whim rather than going to the effort of transferring it from one account to another.

It doesn't stay in there long enough to accrue any worthwhile interest... maybe in a few years when my spending calms down a bit (if it ever does).

I have a savings account... think I used it once, for about a month and that was about 5 years ago heh

The amount of interest paid by most instant access savings accounts is so small as to be worthless.

i have £0.01 in my bank account - off Ibiza and payday on Friday! everything is going on CC at mo... car insurance/fuel everything! had to save everything i got paid for spending mney in ibiza!

Hopefully i've made a good call paying car insurance yearly as it ended up bringing it down from £440 to £330!

My debt is tiny, and i dont understand how some people can have debt that high...

I suppose its financed cars...? and Student Loan?

Mortgages dont count in debt statistics do they?

I dunno, My total debt is less than £500 in various places...But its debt than can be cleared in a month.
And will be

People who are around 1000 overdrawn are just students, (nothing to do with loan). The banks give you 3-4 years interest free overdraft.
