What would you do if...

If she's not pregnant, it will at least have taught you an important lesson for next time you decide to have sex:

Either make sure she takes the pill, or *coughs* finish elsewhere.

Isn't that exactly what was on that site linked earlier in the thread... So she may not have been wrong at all AND been told exactly that...

The usual advice is to use a secondary method of contraception for a little while as well as double-dosing because it doesn't work as well or not at all if you miss one and take two the next day.

So, for example:

What to do - If you forget a Pill Take it as soon as you remember, and take the next one at the right time. This may mean taking two pills in one day. If you take the mini-pill more than three hours late, you are not protected. Continue to take your pills normally but you must also use another method, such as the condom, for the next 48 hours.

If thats too inappropriate for GD, then feel free to ban me

It is a little inappropriate. Just re-word it so it's less... direct.

My first son came along when i was 18. It has been tough, make no mistake. I missed out on all the things my mates were doing and had to grow up pretty quickly!. That was 19 years and 3 more children ago! I love them all but if i could re live that part of my life knowing what i know now, then i would never of had them so young. I have no idea what i was thinking at the time as they were all planned believe it or not.
It is one hell of a decision to make if the test is positive and as has already been mentioned, you do not really have any say in the matter :(

Sorry....

Feel for you though man, be more prepared next time!

How hard is it to take a pill every day?!

Sooo many of my friends moan about how they miss it, not sure if they took one yesterday, took two because they missed one. What is going on with people?

Ever taken antibiotics and forgotten at certain times fo the day? Hell, Ive forgotten to eat breakfast, once forgot to put my contact lenses in before I left the house, despite the fact that I am as blind as a bat without them!

Its easy to forget.

Every bet is taken on its merit, I can remember when my gf (now ex wife) was 17 and we had to tell her parents that she was in the club. Honestly expected fisticuffs with the father but he was nice as pie (both sets of parents were) if you keep it then trust me IT IS HARD WORK but on the plus side my children (as long as I don't have anymore) will be adults before I turn 40

If you get rid then I'm sure many on here have already said its not as simple as the act itself, there are numerous emotional side effects that she/you are likely to suffer from for a while after (I've seen these in all their unwanted glory too)

So, is she or isn't she?

Not with something as important as the pill/antibiotics, no. And even if you have, take some responsibility and don't have sex on that day.

Often I hear it's the boy who has to remind the girl to take them. If he can remember, why can't she?
