Nath, apologies if this has been asked already, but any reason you didn't get the Turbo?

A car as epic as the Supra needs its twin turbo goodness :D

Insurance was one reason as insuring a non turbo import is bad never mind a twin turbo one! The only supra that would have been cheaper to insure would have been the uk spec turbo but they are like hens teeth and go for around 10k.

I chose non turbo mainly because of power, my regular car is a 1.2 polo so 225bhp is enough for me but I did my research and the NA auto supra is the perfect candidate for a TT engine swap if and when I decide it :D

Also a lot of twin turbo I looked at had the engines messed with, random air filters, boost had been waked up etc. A NA engine is a far more reliable thing than a Turbo one especially when looking at a car this old.

I always have liked supras the NA still goes well and is faster than most cars and looks and sounds gorgeous also! What more could I ask for!? Well better MPG lolz

Dup, that car park looks suspiciously like one in the centre of Preston.

Nath, ahh, that's fair enough. And I didn't know the NAs had over 200bhp. No slouch then :) Does look smart though!

I took the Rover to have it polished, cleaned and a leather treatment done and i'm pretty happy with the result. She looks, feels and smells like new, more or less. The photos probably dont do it justice though.
All the scratches and swirl marks caused by it being cleaned with sandy rags over the years are finally gone!
Next time maybe ill get the kerbed wheels sorted :o
