New PC Final List ( Hopefully )

So basically 100% in CrossFire?

Well its nearly a whole double the speed in crossfire, which is very rare as crossfire usually has overheads that use to make the gains less and less, but this generation ATI cards are far better than the older 5* series and scale much better.

Hey. and I'm £11 under budget. So if I can get Kingy666 and myself down to sunny old Weston-Super-Mare we could have a drink with it. I am spent several very happy holiday in Weston-Super-Mare.

It looks completely different now. the entire sea front/pier/sea front roads/promenade have been torn up, binned and started again.

A few more questions if I may please.

A) What is CrossFireX?

B) The PSU being modular, that means I only use the cables needed, yes?

C) The cables from the PSU will all be long enough in this case, with the
Motherboard being rotated?

D) You are confident that I should be able to do this myself?

E) Will there be help should I need it from you please, on this forum?

A) two cards working together, Nvidia call it SLI.
B) Yes, some of the common cables are hard wired anyways.
C) should be fine, the motherboard is connectors are rotated towards the PSU as well.
D) Of course - http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18273488&highlight=startername_Ineedhelpplease - I got this guy from spec to completed build within 10 pages, and he knew nothing.

Yes I know I read it, I thought how good it was of you to pass on your knowledge. That is why i have always looked out for you on my posts. ;)

For me yes.

Oh and im a Nvidia fanboi at heart so would do the GTX570/580 thing.

One other thing I am still curious about. I asked what you meant about your comments, I'M A NVIDIA FANBOI and DOING THE GTX570/580 THINGY.

What did you mean by those remarks/comments?

Because I want you to get the best bang for your buck, the cheapest GTX570 at OCUK is £250, so thats £500 for two.

Mind you, with my car it would cost £100 to get there. Ha Ha.

Thats o.k. we can go in my fiat punto diesel, it does 60 miles to the gallon :D

I have also been to weston-super-mare, i worked on the B&Q build

Edit: NOOOO, now you tell us you have a PCI tv card :(
Looking at the picture of that MSI motherboard it seems that the gap between the top pci-e and the second pci-e slot is wide enough to use the top pci slot for the tv card
