Sorry but IMO stalker is totally overrated the only reason they got a name was because of the graphics and mods on the first one.
I found them to be buggy broken godlike ai and quite frankly boring, okay your opinion is they are good doesn't mean it's everyone's cup of tea does it.

I am sure I am not alone when it comes to not seeing what the fuss is about with stalker and the witcher both buggy boredom fests.

Sorry but IMO stalker is totally underrated the plenty of reasons why they got a name were because of the graphics and mods and atmosphere and stellar gameplay on all three.
I found them to be completely polished with all patches, great intelligent AI and frankly completely amazing fun, okay your opinion is they are bad does not mean that applies to everyone does it.

I am sure I am not alone when it comes to seeing what causes all that fuss with Stalker and Witcher another amazing game series.

Is the Guild Wars trilogy worth it for solo play? Is it a less hack and slashy diablo? Don't know a lot about it tbh.

It doesn't have anything in common with Diablo. It is a very good game though. A lot more strategy to it than you normally get and theres a ton of content.

Wow Clear Sky is also on offer. Normally whenever they do a STALKER offer its only Chernobyl and Pripyat.

Cheers for that. I took a look on Youtube and although the colours and effects were nice, like James said below your post..I wouldn't play for very long

I bought Wings Of Prey for £3, the DLC for WOP is half the price and only features 10 more missions and 2 new planes so it doesn't seem to be worth it in my opinion unless someone else can tell me a reason to buy it?

Lol, you can always turn down the Visual Intensity to be 'epileptic friendly'. You just won't get as many points as someone who set it to 200%

Sweet game though. For that price its a steal, just make sure you get the Ultra DLC too. Adds so much more to the game.

How did you go about doing it, I try to do it but get swamped with everything and end up accidentally blowing up the damn ships. Also, does it matter if I blow the wings up completely so long as the ship is still alive?

I think it just has to be alive.

Only place you should really try it is Boss Rush. Have the 'start with volume' and 'start with power' perks, then go for all the reflective shield power ups. Try a few different tracks until you get 1 that starts with 2 bosses, shoot off the turrets and wait using the shield if you need to avoid death.

depends what games you already have and what your into.

but a lot of the packs tend to come with a lot of games for very little.
so if theres just a few games in the pack you want, then it'll make it worth
so u get the few games you want, plus loads more games on top

id say the Square/Enix/Eidos pack is good, if you dont have any of the games already.

also the THQ pack is really good

not really hack and slash.
closer to WoW than diablo

just your standard MMORPG really, so there is no solo play. Althou, you can get heros and commanions to join your party and can do most of the campaign part of the game on your own.

if your after solo play, then best to start with nightfall where you get your heroes to use, but you might struggle on a few missions just using heroes
