know he's been linked with a few teams, but hasn't aguero been mentioned a few times, seems to have become a bit keener on moving recently.

value wise, could it be that he has some sort of clause in his contract that any offer accepted is the price anyone can have him for, rather than city being able to refuse bids to keep him away from rivals ?

I'm not sure what clauses are in his contract but for City not to take £35,000,000 is a bit mental. It's funny that they're playing hardball now, but they've let players walk away for peanuts when they spent ridiculous amounts on them. Santa Cruz for example and more than likely Jo.

Well its because tevez basically ran.the show for them surely? I dont see aguerro snapping and snarking at opplsition defenders and hustling the ball from the halfway line to the oppositions net. tevez has drive, grit, determination. not many forwards have this plus the ability to.bag up like he does.

these players like aguero, robinho etc are a soft touch in comparidon, for all their skill.

Wenger's confirmed he's happy to let Nasri run his contract down and leave for nothing next season

See ya in 12 months then Samir

You watching SSN? :p

He says it's a technical decision and not a financial one, and that he hopes he will have the boards backing to let a valuable player potentially leave for nothing in 12 months time. I hope we manage to persuade him, letting him leave next year for nothing is crazy. :(

Well to be fair, I think Sven did a great job with the foxes last season. Taking them from the bottom 3 half way through the season, to just missing out on the play-offs.

I am expecting even better things this season, and have got to be up there, or there abouts :)

They got a lot of Prem players on loan including Yakubu so it was expected really.

LOL yeah

I guess the technical decision is that 12 months on Ramsey and Wilshire will be 1 year more experienced

For us UTD fans Gill's apparently in Milan tonight to progress the Sneijder deal....

How will Arsenal cope without them 4 assists next season :D

So not only do you steal my thoughts but you steal my TV habits.

Hah! I think he's slightly overrated, but he has huge natural talent and he's still young and improving. Hopefully we can put all of this behind us and he can sign a new contract. :D

Seriously?

Not an Arsenal fan but unless he is willing to sign a new contract I find this ridiculous.

Losing out on £20m+ for him when he could get a couple of decent midfield players for that amount.

They havent won anything for 6 years now so maybe a change is needed and getting a big amount for the likes of Nasri and Fabregas could allow this to happen

Yeah I will take that with a pinch of salt. Can't see tight wallet Wenger throwing away £20m on an unhappy player. He would be a bad influence if we kept him. Sign him up or cash in on him. It would be madness otherwise. We could get two more players for that money or a very good replacement. Or nothing...

If Nasri leaves on a free next year I very much doubt he'll end up at Utd - City or Chelsea are bound to be the destinations for the top $$$$$s.

If they sell Fabregas then IMO it's probably worth holding on to Nasri, they won't be short of cash in that scenario and they'll still have an experienced CM to help Ramsey & Wilshire develop further.

Random but was just reading C. Ronaldo's wiki, he's been er, pretty successful there at RM, 66 goals in 63 games  Still I suppose he has to justify his 1billion euro buy-out clause :D

I actually rate Ronaldo higher than Messi and also think that Ronaldo is much more entertaining to watch. Plus even though he has good players around him he doesn't have the ridiculous talent helping him out that Messi has.

A couple? You sure about that? We do live in a world where Jordan Henderson costs in a region of 20m himself :o :p

Unless you're talking about likes of Adam and Parker? Neither of which IMO are up to Arsenal's standard

By all accounts he's already chosen United over City so unless our interest in him cools over the season or someone else emerges I cant see the difference 12 months would make to Nasri
