did u use Kies to get KF4?
nope.
i'm getting better battery life using KF3....
24hours with normal use it's at 92%
Blimey, that's really good. What do you call normal use though? I'm on stock everything, 2.3.3 and KE7 I think it is, and get very good idle time on the battery with only minimal use, around 3 days recently. But if normal use after 24 hours includes email, wifi, phone calls and a bit of this and that, and you're still at 92%, that's amazing! You're averaging 1% battery drop per 3 hours with usage. I can get about 1% drop per 3 hours but only if completely idle.
I agree it really frustrates me how many people try to do some weird itunes style syncing with it..... just use it as a drive and copy your mp3s to it!
can confirm just that, got it on at the minuteCan anyone confirm if their volume buttons are working when the FM radio is playing and the screen is off. I'm having to unlock the phone first for them to work. Works fine when music plays, the problem only occurs with the FM radio.
I got rid of the iPhone so that I could get rid of iTunes too! and simply dropping the playlist file wouldn't work for me - due to me sometimes having a couple different encodings of the same album. So if I were to move the artist or just album across, it may contain the FLAC and a V0 or 320 encodes within. Much wasted space on a small deviceYou can sync iTunes playlists to Android (even over the air) with various available apps like isyncr.
normal use for me is checking forums , sending some sms, look at some pics...Blimey,that's really good. What do you call normal use though? i don't use it to call.
i've said above what i used within them 24hours.You can't have used it at all to get 0.3% battery drain per hour. It's just not happening![]()

the only thing i don't say is how long i used it for.
also i'm really not bothered if u believe me or not.

the screen was on for about 10-13 minutes~ in total.. the screen is to min on the brightness...So you've had the screen on (presumably), done some web browsing, sent and received some SMS (I'm assuming you're on wifi and have a network signal), looked at some pictures, and the speaker would probably have been active for some of that time for the messages, etc.
How long has the display been on for?
This phone appeared suddenly on Virgin mobile this morning so I've ordered it. £30 per month, free phone, 1000 minutes, 'unlimited' texts (3,000) and what they call 'unlimited' internet which is actually 1GB. How quickly will that 1GB be used up? I've never had a Smart phone B4.
Not to pleased about the 24 month contract but anything shorter was more per month and paying for the phone as well which i didn't want to do.
That sounds a little bit too good to be true to me, unless it's in airplane mode and the screen never gets turned on, you aren't going to get 0.3% drain per hour. Even then, you might be pushing it.
Unless anyone wants to prove me wrong?
Turn automatic screen brightness off dude, it actually uses more battery than just selecting a mid-level brightness.
