****The Official Samsung Galaxy S II Thread***

Ah k, also goes to some other people encase they aren't aware :p

Yeah, I know it is perfectly normal for his use.

Agree with your last point.

For me the battery would last just about 2 days with my use probably.

The key thing is to clear the ram when your finished using it.

no need for that at all. Being stored in RAM will mean its faster to load the next time you use it - I believe it uses up next to no extra power.

I can get 3 days without clearing RAM that's for sure.

It really is as simple as this when it comes to the battery (provided you haven't got a ridiculous amount of things syncing and have 100% brightness, etc) -

Light use - 3 days

Moderate use - 2 days

Heavy use - 1 day

(Obviously that isn't going to be entirely accurate but it's simple enough to understand) :)

i must say im mega impressed with the battery life on this thing. I have my phones on practically full brightness and this phone has coped well with my usuage thus far. For the first time since owning a android phone (Nexus One , Desire HD) I dont need to charge my phone tonight! (i will anyway :D)

Went to my little niece's party today and had a chance to gather all my direct family phones.

It's safe to say were pro Android :D.

I've had play with them all and feel the SGS2 trumps them all. No surprise really tho ;)

Nobody had an iPhone at all? Or did you just ignore them :p

That picture just goes to show that the actual size differences aren't all that big. It's well worth getting a 4.3" screen if you can.

There were three iP4's - however this was a Droid family photo ;)

I do love the way the SGS/2 screen are soo black and blend into the black case - the others look soo old fashioned.

Is that the full review or was there more in the mag?

If that was it then I thought it was a fairly carp review; lacking any real depth and info.

I'll check tomorrow in tesco. I think it's pretty much the full review. I'd take some pictures of the review with my SGS2, but it would look a bit suspicious.:D

lol what did they say when you gathered them all up for a photoshoot? :D

That looks quite interesting, thanks very much for posting that :). Will have to give it a try, hopefully I have more luck than my previous custom rom installs :o

Not sure I personally would bother with it to be honest... my phone now id fast and rock stable... and I dont have much need for most of those features. I mean... private browsing on my own passworded phone? Not quite sure I see the point really!
