Just so you know I've no idea how good the game works at offering you new jobs. I've had a few in previous seasons but that's when I've been a PL club for the start etc. For example if you're the manager of a 2nd division Portuguese side, I don't know if the AI will offer you a job if there is one going in the French Leige 1 for example if you have a good record.


I got the Canical job, was offered another at Serra as well but chose that one. lol Murray, but how on earth did you get offered that one?! But yes your aim will be them until you win the league and CL in the same season, and then you can resign and go else where.

It's sort of like the ultimate manager journeyman career.


19th December for me, currently 2nd in the league, pld 14, won 9, drawn 3, lost 2. The leaders Maritimo B have not lost a game yet. I went 2-0 up against them as well and drawn 2-2 earlier in the season.

Yeah send us a few before I sleep, iv landed a striker with finishing 16 and a left back who can play football!

I've smashed into a brick wall on Football Manager, I've played the series since Championship Manager 2001/02 religiously but its just started to become tedious. Might move on to Italy or something just to see if I can light my passion for this game back.

Uchhh I lost to Maritimo B and 4th to last game of the season I lost to Tirsense some how, which means Maritimo B have won the League! 3 games of the season left, I'm only on a one year contract, I'm not sure what will happen at the end of it, if they offer me another one or I get other offers from different clubs.

Finally on 9th December I've been offered a job as Newtown manager.

I seriously doubt I could ever win the CL with such a team or any Welsh Premier team to be honest, given the rep of the league.

just won the treble with arsenal in the second season so may sack that off and get involved with this challenge!

Just finished the season with Newtown, got offered a years extension as well so accepted that. First game was against Haverfordwest after the red line, ended up finishing 5th in the League, lost out on 4th on goal difference. And won the Welsh Cup, so next season I'm in the Europa League 2nd qualifiers.

Going to try and win the League and once that is done I will resign, unless I got another job offer, because I don't think it would be impossible to win the CL with a Welsh side with the rep the League has it would be so hard to get in decent players and to build it up would take a silly amount of seasons.
