I suggest United Opperations as someone else posted here. Good on the realism. nice bunch of guys. some great mission makers. always running different and varied missions. Id also reccomend U.S.SOCOM really hardcore realism. Great bunch of people. depends how much realism you want. socom is a bit much for some. Id suggest UO as a starter for most though. they also made the ACRE radio mod which is basically essential for this game. I would no longer play witout it and anyone who uses it will say the same!

Could Someone Point out good Weapons for Online use Mid and Long Range stuff please?

With Open Scopes so i can see around me while shooting none of that Blocked out Vision please.

Would be great getting some Info.

M16 CCO or acog. longer range you will have closed scopes. you seem to be asking to "lone wolf" which is kinda missing the point of the game. Personally i like the Scar-H and HK417 both avaliable as mods. oh and the M110

so reinstalling a few games and was wondering if i have too update all patches of if i just need last 1 and it will update automatic ?

meh installed the invasion 44 mod but now I can't play online on 7cav server something about the files it uses even when the mod expansions is disabled guess I have to re-install?

do you get any error message when you get kicked (might help point out what is causing you to be kicked)

the mods in this game are a joke, to this day i still have not got ace working lol, and even using 6updater ****s things up.

arma 3 really better have a decent solution to this problem ie. onconnect-server transfers

I'm playing ARMA 2 at the minute, how the hell do you tell the chopper pilot where to fly? The first time I got in it let me choose a place on the map, he flew me to the base I selected, now I have more intel I requested transport and the helicopter has arrived, but when I get inside and go to the map it won't let me mark a destination like before.

pilots just fly whereever they want imo, normally to the base or OA if a MR hasnt been set up yet.

I've just been gifted the ArmaX Anniversary edition on steam, I currently have Arma2/OA installed off DVDs. Is it possible to add just the DLC to my existing package or will I have to download everything?

If you have key codes for each individual dlc and game then it should be possible to just download the DLCs off sproket and install them using your DLC keys. with it being steam and such i just dont know for sure though.

I don't have any keys, using the gift they just show in my games list.

I've downloaded them and just ran each of them and they installed without any problems to my existing installation.

I don't need Steam running either.

no just always get a lift, if your in the base or oa it shouldnt be a problem - unless your on a bad server (then id leave anyway)

dont do road takes to long, and don't forget about the teleport flagpole at your base, if an MR has been set up you can instantly tele there.
