Most people will have used that link, but a lot of people don't meet the criteria when they eventually log in.

Nobody knows what the criteria is though.

Surprised all these uber rigs are suffering, I guess DICE will optimize after the Alpha/Beta.

Everything runs fine here on high with a 9550 @ 3.2 and a 460.

Manually setting high, or auto makes no difference for me in fps.

Sounds good. I will be running i5 2500k, 8GB DDR3 and HD6870 at 930mhz so I should be ok. Worth appreciating that even low/medium settings usually put the consoles to shame anyway.

Run everywhere. Use short bursts. Always use the sights never fire from the hip. Dive into cover its faster than running. Aim for the centre of mass as you will get headshots as people dive on the floor and if you panic and spray you will recoil onto their head. Play as Assault when starting out and don't use the heavy barrel. Go for objectives not kills. When you finish a mag switch to pistol to finish people off as it is faster than reloading. Run everywhere. Use cover all the time. If there isnt something between you and the enemy you WILL die a lot.

I'm on an i5 2500k, maximus IV Extreme with 6870 Crossfire WC'ed, using an 80GB Intel SSD RAID 0, so it wouldn't go to waste with me

So in the beta can we expect to be able to make a squad, invite people to the squad as well as kick them out, and to issue orders to a squad becuase I see no team play elements in the alpha. I spam the q key for pickup and there is no indication that it was successful. I'm out of ammo and I'm looking around like crazy for support to spam Q, when I do find a support guy there is no indication that I asked for supplies it's dumb., we need the commo-rose badly, you feel like a mute in BF3.

Fire in short bursts or switch to semi.

I end up shooting at my team, i resort to what Kevin does on CoD [How to annoy people on Black Ops].
