Logitech been ripped off - to grass or not?

E-mailed Logitech earlier this week regarding a fault with a Dinovo Mini and the replacement should be with me tomorrow. Really outstanding service.

Good to see OCUK helping with alerting Logitech about the scammer, and congrats Jimlad on the goodies :D

Surely this is asking for open abuse?

Sadly, it is, but I think there is a huge difference between a regular joe getting one or two items from them, and someone who is making tens of thousands a month selling them on eBay IN the buyer's name without their knowledge.

Hopefully OCUK will put my goody bag inside a nice Corsair 800D and send me that too :D

Wow what an ****** the OP is, just because it says warranty replacement doesnt mean hes scamming Logitech, maybe he is a reseller of warranty replacement items, dont just go jumping to conclusions.

Logic fail tbh...

If he's not scamming Logitech and is perfectly entitled to be doing what he is doing then informing Logitech or anyone else is going to have no effect on the guy anyway.

More likely he is scamming them and informing them quite rightly could lead to action being taken against him.

either way - no reason not to inform them.

Seems this has already had an impact on Logitechs CS, my Z-5500's decided to stop working totally a few days ago, contacted CS who asked for the usual picture of item + reference number, the serial number of the speakers etc only to then turn around say please return the whole set to them at my expense! as they wont supply postage.

So thats ~£50 to return my faulty speakers to the netherlands.

Why not ask them to give you a new set and do an exchange via UPS courier? That's what they offered with my G19, shortly after, theysent me a new one without taking the old one back.

Hopefully this doesn't become common place.

Due to this thread i asked them if i could buy replacement speakers as some had blown, they asked for proof of purchase which was over 3 years ago and they sent me a 50% off voucher :O I wasnt intending to buy a whole new speaker setup at all but due to that i've just ordered myself some Z5500's for half price! Only wanted to know if they had spares lol! Thumbs up to them!

That's ace I'm gonna buy Logitech, Razer was terrible when my Makos died!

Surely they can still offer a great service but tighten the requirements of proof just a liiiitle bit to protect themselves from this sort of thing?

I've been telling you lot that Logitech are amazing for many years now, although in Hardware section. Now everyone's getting in on the action :p

I've never had any Logitech product that stopped working, let alone one still under guarantee. I've got a Logitech mouse here that I've used so much that there's a worn section on the LMB where my finger goes, but it's still working as well as when it was new.

I need some new mouse feet for my MX518, but I have no proof of purchase, I've had it for yonks! Can I get some new ones for free? What do you do just email logitech?

I had the tab key start sticking on my logitech illuminated keyboard which got really annoying after a while when you alt tab a lot! Emailed them on a Saturday, they sent me a brand new replacement which arrived on the following Wednesday. Didn't ask me to do anything with the old one and think its in the loft somewhere as a emergency spare

Great service so glad this got reported to Logitech, great response by them and OCUK to give you free goodies for your actions :)

Well done for reporting the scammer, it would be quite funny if Logitech sent him/her an invoice for all the items in their eBay history... :D
