Jermaine Jenas, Sebastian Bassong, Steven Pienaar amongst others have gone from Tottenham after Harry put them in the shop window during Saturday's friendly against Bilbao.

hahaha i so hope that true, serves pienaar right lol :)

*everton fan btw ;)

Though we can probably manage without replacing him if we keep Modric as we have Sandro looking quality, Huddlestone back from injury, Jenas a decent deputy, Kranjcar if we need some flair and then there's always Livermore who is probably going to get games in the Europa.

Striker is still blatantly the priority, with Ruiz from Twente the latest name to be linked.

Is Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain the 'Super Quality' Arsene has been going on about? If so I would love to know how he describes Messi!

I think Wenger is going mad, Lallana is the one with us that makes "Messi look ****" (such a fun chant) when Chamberlain is just a bucket of pace and hasn't played a game over L1 level.

Think Wenger really wants to see us spend 12m properly and buy our way out the league... :D Either way the hand has been clearly bitten off and someone needs to kick the people who work on sky sports news to tell them Chamberlain isn't a striker...

To be fair, he played against Man Utd in a weak team and did extremely well. Seen him a few times and he looks very competent for a 17yo. Stick him on a training ground with top class, premiership ayers and he'll grow. Just a tad expensive at £10-£12million.

Nobody interesting, no.

If that Palacios thing is true, I don't know what the hell we are going to do now. Who the hell are we going to replace him with?

replace him with? he was behind huddlestone and sandro in the pecking order, he would have got minimal games this season and we're better off cashing in on him. he's a decent player but went right off the boil for us, his passing his woeful and his booking stats high. thanks stoke, he will be a good asset for you though.

He looked good against most of United's reserves, but then so did most of our first team that game! (let down by my hate figure of the nothing Seaborn and our reserves keeper that game).

12m for him is such a waste as he'll do nothing for a few years, would have been good for us in the npc but doesn't stand a chance yet in the prem.
