If you got a bad realm bro, just move. It's really worth it.
It makes finding groups, doing quests, anything that much more fun and enjoyable.
I moved from Nagrand which is a low-med pop server with no good guilds, to The Maelstrom and joined a top 35 guild, and theres so many other guilds and people about

How do you find out these stats?
There's a hell of a lot of Alliance on Silvermoon.. Would be interested to know how many Hordes there are.

You can use the WoW Census. A quick google and the first result should be the one you're looking for.
Have you been in the standard wow keybindings and unbound Shift+1 etc from the actionbar section?
When I first installed BT I had to unbind those as they scroll round the default actionbars.
Disable bartender, log in, reset binds to default (so no shift+ etc), logout, enable bartender, log in, reset Bartender to default, program new binds through Bartender.
Its what I'd try.

Starting out on a new realm is tough though! finding a guild etc all that drama
My server sucks, love to be on a busy realm again!

well for us were waiting till blizz implement the guild transfer feature where you can move a guild to a new realm and all members will keep their rep etc.
It's probably more a battlegroup than realm problem, but the last few days it's taken me at least 3 hours to complete the random BG daily (think I actually got my first win on my 25th BG yesterday...). There are simply no healers or organisation on the Alliance side.
Sometimes you simply don't have the numbers to gather your own friends so you rely upon the random team you're given, and the quality of these teams is abysmal in comparison to our opponents.

Dont let finding a guild put you off joined a level 25 raiding guild in under 20 minutes
I'm not looking for raiding really, just want a community.
Several, one that springs to mind is called Game Sense. They just transfered there and only take members with 2.5k+ rating and seem to be one of the best PvP guilds around from what I can make of the threads on Arena Junkies.... then again I don't PvP much. I think there is one called Ad Asta or something as well which are pretty good but yeah there are many.
FYI that's nowhere near correct. Horde do not outnumber Alliance that badly on TM. We outnumber you, but not by that %!
I'm looking about getting back into WoW, especially into raiding since I have a lot of time on my hands right now.
Is there anyone here that has a guild that is pretty well established in terms of raiding and has space for a semi under geared rogue/mage. Will gear up quickly don't worry, would just me a motivation if I had a guild to go to. Can faction/server change to anywhere.

I'd suggest Auchindoun. Really enjoyed my time there. I played on both Horde and Alliance.
On a crappy server also, but the expense of transferring is just excessive; would rather just sell the account and start over

Once I hit 85 what's the best way to join a raiding guild and get some good gear.
Been levelling mainly through LFG and not having a lot of luck in the groups when it comes to loot so I don't look very appetising to guilds.
That and I'm Pally tank so it'd be a big risk for them to take on a noob tank
