Cardiff suburbs and Swansea suburbs are bad, however they are in no way as bad as the suburbs of Tottenham, Peckham, Hackney etc so its not surprising if they are not used to the level of criminality of area's of London.

Don't get me wrong, the boyos in blue were well up for a ruck, and Methyr Tydfil looked rough as hell. It's just that they weren't the most well organised team I've ever seen.

I have just watched Sky News and seen the footage of a young lad bleeding,some guy helps him up and then with another one goes through his back pack stealing something.

yes this will be interesting having taken the moral high ground over ME uprisings how can take do this and not look stupid, I fear this may well be taken into consideration.

Problem is, 6000 cops last night, maybe there were 10,000 people looting, 16k cops tonight, maybe there will be 25k people looting, hopefully not. But I can't see most of the guys who got away with stuff in the first couple nights giving up and more people seem to be joining every night.

Truly is incompetant it takes the PM to get the police chief to recall everyone from holidays/leave/days off and get people in from other area's, that should have happened, latest, of sunday night.

The number of people looting is nowhere near that.

I'm so glad I live in a Turkish area in north London (green lanes). If any shiz goes down, I'm going to join in with the Turkish to fight them off.

I think we need general public to fight back in numbers until police get control.

We need local groups to band together, and fight back using the same technology these criminals are using. Such as facebook and Instant Msgr

Me and a bunch of Glaweigen mates that live in London were having a pint near Angel last year and he wandered past with his bike (and no security), he got some gentle cheering/booing. Took it in good humour, he's okay.
