ARGH!!!!! stupid phone froze on me last night didn't have a clue and now i've woken up late for work! That's the last time i'm only relying on it as an alarm clock. battery is also almost flat now too

It can definitely be disabled as it is on mine.
At a guess it would be in Settings > Motion.
I have tried disabling it, but in the Gallery application it still tilts!!! I assume it is a bug as I have disabled Tilt and motion from the settings screens.

Not sure what's happened with my phone. I unplugged from the charger about 5.15 this morning, since then wi-fi/3g have been off and it hasn't been near a charger, this is my current stats:
Showing that wi-fi has been on and has been continuously charging, and now the battery level is going up even though its not plugged in.
Hopefully a reflash tonight will sort.

I'm on VillainRom 2.4.2 and it can be a bit buggy with battery stats, not always being upto date or awake/screen on times changing, but I havn't had anything like that

Anyone used the panorama setting in the camera app? Its very cool but is there a way to take less photos? taking 6 is a bit too many and sometimes i have to do a complete 360. 3 would be better

you know you can overlap the photos.....right? by that i mean just move slower lol. anyway, tap the camera icon to save the panarama after however many photos you like.

Hmm, not sure how much it's worth putting on a custom ROM. I definitely want to OC it (with OCUV kernals), remove bloat ware (all the social crap) and root it.

social hubs used to be a problem on the early firmwares but are they still an issue now? I didnt notice any problems running official kg3, they were quite unobtrusive and didnt seem to cause any battery issues.
re: custom roms, i've not really seen any significant improvements with any of them. I only use lite'ning because i like the blue theme of it. without that, I doubt I'd bother at all lol

I'm an anti-social *******... well, I socialise in person with mates rather than through any facebook or google+ type mechanism.
I get my SGSII tomorrow, and just want to scrap the useless bloated stuff, like 90% of the apps/widgets that came with my Desire when I had that.
I'am after a new phone and I really like the look of this one, I'am currently not on a contract but I'm looking for the cheapest contact that offers unlimited internet usage or at least a decent amount of data a month.
I like to tweet a lot and browse youtube and forums as well to and from work (and at work
) so I need something that can support that amount of usage, If anyone knows the best deals please share! thanks.

Just looking at the 3mobile network and they are doing the galaxy S II for £35 a month 24month contract and unlimited internet.
Still though £35 a month is wowzaaa too much for me
They also do a 1gig internet option for £30 a month.
I'am probably looking for somewhere in the £25 a month margin.
I just wish somewhere would do a deal where you get lots of internet usage with low calls/texts because I really don't text and call a whole lot.

If you're happy with 24 months I saw some deals around the £25 price point and under on Phones4U and Dialaphone.
