Yes but

a) the cuts haven't started yet - we are still spending more this year than we spent last year

b) they aren't really cuts anyway, it is just reductions in the growth of spending

c) there isn't any alternative to the cuts, if we continue down this path our economy will collapse, a mathematical certainty.

you would think such unintelligent people would struggle with a keyboard but I guess not

if you dont see the white people looting as well then you have something wrong with your tv (im sure you can get new plasma cheap on ebay after the last few days :))

also amusing is the anti tory lot on here blaiming them for the looting, even the kids themselves cannot articulate that sentance with any justification whatsoever so dont go putting words in their mouths to let them off the hook

well, yes but i was on about the topic, the riots.

if mp's start apologising over this (the riots, not the lack of police power), it will not go down well.

Not really surprising. The racists, white supremacists, whatever they call themselves always manage to crawl from under a stone whenever there is a hint of “conflict” in a thread.

I don't think so. A mate who is in the army has said to me that it looked like an old army trick where they send in the dogs to test to see what you can and can't do.
That's if some people are organizing all of this. I want to know where do we go from here?
 
If they are picking up young kids between 8-15 year olds then they should be taking action against the parents, these people are unfit to have kids who are out and about into the early hours, why are these people allowed to breed.

The problem is this:

Rioting: > 80% black people
Cleanup: > 80% white people

We had three days of running pictures in the press and media of the former, and now they're following up with the latter. That's going to stoke those kinds of feelings.
 
I am black and black pride is racist. Any sort of racial pride is simply racism. Why be proud in something you had no role in anyways is beyond me.

It is annoying how we're getting blamed for the riots. Why this angers me is because worldwide now people are starting to think this especially Americans. There are over 900,000 to 1 million black people in London, on Saturday there was about 2,000 police this tripled to 6,000 on Sunday. Seriously even if a quarter of us (225,000) got involved the armed forces would have been immediately called in.

I understand why this is happening I grew up and know the kinds who got involved. Simply put they do not fear the police/law government they saw how easy it was to loot in Tottenham so organized their own missions of looting.

I personally know many who got involved they would go in numerous cars to various destinations around this capital. Many of them have already been to jail know they system and could care less about local business and Londons image.
