Why would he when Bendtner couldn't get a game upfront last season anyway, when he did play it was mostly on the wing, and when Theo was injured, when Theo wasn't injured Bendtner couldn't get a game.
We're going to lose Bendtner for half as much as he's worth(minimum) purely because we wouldn't play the guy, which makes him join a fairly long list of other players at Arsenal who we lose in the same way.

It's a shame to see Enrique go, but why stay at a club with little ambition.
He has been a consistently good performer for us and it's not regular we get a sought after defender.
Depending on what happens with all our remaining players and if we get some decent striker in and maybe see how all these random frenchies work out...
Average. I accept this as a Newcastle fan. The best we can ever hope for again given the way football has gone at the highest level.... between 7th-12th... Certainly think we aren't bad enough to go down

Sheffield Wednesday have actually signed a couple of strikers; Uchechi on a 6 month loan who's young (21 iirc) and played for a few clubs in the lower leagues so far and O'Grady from Rochdale (We played them on the opening weekend beating them comfortably by two goals and he was given abuse (from Megson too) for being a money grabbing so and so, so I'm guessing either he's lowered his wage demand after seeing his current side so comprehensively beat or we've haggled and come to an agreement)
Still, we have a couple of first team spots up for grabs, would like to see another striker and a winger or a pacey attacking midfielder coming in.
@ Liverpool fans, I think Enrique is a pretty solid left back (not that my opinion counts for much) I think outside Evra and Cole he's in the chasing pack of "next best" players. I think he'll improve at Liverpool too; that tends to happen when decent players move to much bigger and better clubs.
Newcastle are in serious trouble imho too, is Ashely trying to sell the club piece by piece and player by player?
