So does anybody think that rvp is next to leave arsenal if they have a poor season?
Quite possibly, if Wilshire has another fantastic season though, and maybe more so if he plays more in the Cesc role than the DM role, he'll be getting goals and assists I can see people starting to think about offering big for him. Chelsea could probably do with a Lampard replacement in a year or two. If we drop out of CL this year, which I'm not sure about, not because Arsenal haven't gotten worse, but because I don't think teams close enough below have improved much, then RVP could really choose just about any champs league club.
Its only really English people and players who don't really consider teams outside of EPL/La liga worthwhile. A team like Malaga could quite easily get in the CL next season then put in a big offer for someone like RVP.
I saw an interview/statement linked to in the Sun with Wenger saying he wasn't going to let anyone leave, and that was this morning.

He seems to be saying he expects no one to leave, and not Cesc/Nasri, maybe he's just completely lost his marbles at this point(or showing it, he lost them years ago).
WE should have had Fab/Nasri wrapped up minimum of 6 weeks ago and 2 replacements in already, whole thing is becoming a joke.
Someone said we have more than enough quality for Newcastle but, have you seen us in preseason without Wilshire in Cesc's role, or last year without Cesc playing, we're half the ruddy team, RVP starts dropping into midfield to get the ball and we barely create anything. Theo is worthless without someone playing balls to him in the box, Arshavin becomes useless when RVP drops so deep, Song, lol, Ramsey, he's very hit and miss, I don't know if its lack of confidence but he frequently gets caught on the ball wanting too much time on the ball.
We're hardly taking sparkling preseason form into the season, and even that was before a few injuries to our most important players.
