Could anyone please point me towards a guide on how to reset the battery stats or something? My battery is getting really drained and I'm not really using the phone much.

I rooted mine to:

- silence the idiotic noise the phone makes when fully charged
- enable flashing notifications for texts, emails and calls
- undervolt and put on custom kernals to greatly improve battery life

How exactly do you achieve the flashing notifications if I may ask? I'd be interested to have that. Does it consume a lot of battery or is it negligible?
 
Question: like many others I quite like the stock UK ROM (2.3.3, KE7 on mine), but how exactly would I go about upgrading to 2.3.4 without losing any data or without too much hassle? The phone has already been rooted and has CWM installed. Is it just a matter of flashing a zip file in CWM or do I need to install Odin again (which I'd rather avoid)?
 
I rooted and bunged CM7 on mine, then put SensatioN on, I need to find something else really.

The thing I actually miss is the Samsung camera app. The camera app in CM7 crashed swapping between camera/video :/

Far to many roms out on this phone, I have tried 4 so far, my favourite for looks was MIUI, the stock one looks very much like the iphone but if you use a different launcher you get around that and still keep the nice menu system it has, I had issues with video on it though so left it for now, but could be my full time one when its sorted.
 
I've now resorted to removing my app's one by one as I'm sure one of them is the culprit.

Official Twitter app is fine as the fault occurred with it removed. I've just removed Swift Key X. Do we have many Swift Key X users on here?
 
What are the 2nd hand values like on the SGS2 at the mo? I have looked at a few of the phone recycling sites and its a lot less then I though.

Yeah they were a lot lower than I expected as well. Not overly fussed though because I can see myself sticking with this phone for a long time, will probably regret posting that in the future :p
