sadly android phones lose value much higher than apple products, when i sold my 13 month 'desire' it was going for less than a 3 year old iphone :(

I'm not 100% sure at the moment, if I should sell it or not as I have a number of problems with the handset.
 
I put the frankenstein xkg6 firmware on mine from xda seems alright. but i don't like the launcher so i put adw on it but i hate to scroll sideways rather than vertically in the applications list:(

I am running the same FW now, as it still hasn't fixed any problems. Just for reference I am experiencing low call volume, which is hard to hear in a noisy environment, WiFi is temperamental some times it works some times it doesn't and the GPS is just painfully slow.

if you think you have a faulty handset surly send it back for repair/ replacement, also be a bit mean to sell it knowing its faulty? if they are software then i have always found a work around for my issues on here or xda

The feature set and tweaks look amazing and JUST what I want. I think I have found my new perma-ROM! It's like a Cyanogen ROM on other handsets where everything works but with the addition of all Samsung tweaks as well :D

Yeah that looks great. I like CM7 a lot, but I don't like the idea of having (or wanting) to update when every nightly is released.
 
GPS?

Check out FasterFix on the market, I think teh default llocation is set to USA when it should be UK.
 
I collabed the battery but it doesn't seem to make any difference. My phone lost 25% charge idle over night.

Any idea what could be causing this?

no need to flash cm7 each day, i just check the log here and see if i need anything, normally just update once a week. These nighty's only go on until a stable release is ready.

been on cm7 for a few weeks, only thing im missing is the tv out support, apart from that it is fast and rock solid. only time it crashed was when i tested the 'test' build.

got one from mobiles.co.uk yesterday but its going back.. there is a constant mark on the screen (top half) that never goes... reminds me of screenburn on a old LCD monitor
