Guys is it normal for quadrant to say my device has 1 core in the info bit?

It scored 2862 btw on stock rom. Seem ok?
 
Hi, me again with this screen problem. Screen was on for around an hour unnoticed earlier. Interestingly, in the battery info it says screen was off but phone was awake.

When I first got the phone I changed the crc FROM Vodafone to UK generic and updated via Kies. Could that of cooked something up?

Also, is it possible some old juice defender setting remains bearing in mind i've wiped user partition and changed Rom since using it. Tia.
 
Does anybody know of the vanilla Modaco rom has all the DivX support still intact?

I do need some stuff like alsure but dont want all the music hubs and stuff
 
How long do the updates usually take to appear on Kies once they're official in other countries?

Also, when you install CF-Root, can you still update via Kies? It only changes the kernel right, not the firmware?

Will I have to re-apply CF-Root if I upgrade to KH1?

Watch out for screen burn.

My SGsII went to the repair centre for a new screen today, 6 icons were burnt into the screen and the clock (top right) Check yours by going into ‘Blue mode’, by entering *#0*# into the dialler and pressing on ‘Blue’ - then take a good look at the screen.

10 - 15 day turn around (which is crap) SO i'm on a Nokia E90 for now.

did u have the brightness on 50%+?

i always have mine set to min... not had a issue for over a month

Brightness at about 50% (maybe a touch less) and screen time out set to 15 seconds.

Was gutted really because i'm very particular about my gear and it seemed to happen over night. (not being charged) woke in the morning to find serious screen burn that was not there the night before.
 
But it was flawless dealing with Samaung UK support.

They look note of the problem and issued me with an ‘Order Service Number’ to post with my device to the Regenersis express repair centre in scum-but-fun-land.
 
Another thing I noted is that Samsung ‘Kies’ is one nasty wee bit of software. It really is a pain in the arse when it comes to upgrading or uninstalling.
 
No screen burn issues for me. Timeout on 1minute.

KH1 Modaco was released yesterday daytime.

kies is worse than itunes! laggy bit of crap i uninstalled and wont ever reinstall. make sure you disable it from auto loading in msconfig, takes up a lot of system resources and added 3 seconds to my ultra quick boot up.... :D
