Gary Neville on Sky Sports

He was an average player and got exposed at the highest levels. Yes, I am a Liverpool fan but ask any non-United fan and you will get the same response.

His England run outs were atrocious....

Well what a shocker! Didn't take a book of knowledge to figure out you was a scouser coming out with that dribble.

Ill tell you what.....you go and ask most English football fans who the best right back for the past....10 years has been, its Gary Neville.

His England run-outs have been the same as any other player.....England have been crap for years!!

Your a Liverpool fan and it comes natural that you hate Gary Neville, thats all it is.

Very pleased to see him succeeding and getting good reviews from most folks. Now all we need is Paul Scholes to succeed in management and I'm happy :D

To contribute something, he's done Okay so far i feel.
As a pundit he's really not been to bad and at least has something insightful to offer rather then most the other ex players who are thick as a plank.
Couldn't imagine i would want him on com's for one of my games though :p

I have to say, I don't greatly dislike Jamie Redknapp but he seems unable to make any sort of comment that doesn't turn into him ranting like his opinion is the only one that matters.

Brilliant just then when they were talking about Nasri and possibly not signing for City anymore :p

Lot what a joke, not only his "why's that then?" question about Nasri but also his claim after the match that Liverpool "dominated possession" - yeah, total domination it was, 51:49%, you can't get more domination than that!

Newcastle fan and despite an ingrained hatred of Neville I was relatively impressed by him. Better than most, especially Redknap.

I think he's deliberately come out and tried to appear as impartial most of the time, he knows people will have the knives out waiting for an opportunity to have a pop at him the moment he sticks the boot into Liverpool or MC. Likewise even when questioned on Wenger the first thing he did was come out and say he wasn't about to start telling Arsene Wenger how to manage a football team. I think he is well prepared but time will tell whether he can settle into it more naturally, I felt he was a little bit wooden on MNF when faffing about with the big ipad.

I got the feeling that he wants arsenal to challenge for titles again

As a United fan I would gladly have Arsenal fighting for the title if it meant bankrolled City and Chelsea had less of a chance.

Lot what a joke, not only his "why's that then?" question about Nasri but also his claim after the match that Liverpool "dominated possession" - yeah, total domination it was, 51:49%, you can't get more domination than that!

He is not the first, and will not be the last pundit to say one team dominated only for the stats to show it being a lot closer. It's a very easy misconception.

Always hated the little rat & having to see him on Sky Sports makes me cringe. Redknapps not much better either.
