well less people clogging up the servers and more people being idiots on the bay, cant complain, gonna try and get me a new one from le play
 
Just had a phone call from Comet. No stock for my order online, but they do have more coming in and said I'd get one on the 5th September.

This is exactly what i think will happen with my Comet order.

According to my CC account they have taken the money but the order is still in the processing stage.

Ah well! At least i tried! :D
 
Well I just called comet + pcw and both have sold my reservations. :rolleyes: After reading this thread last night I'm not really suprised. PCW were somewhat apologetic, comet clearly couldn't have cared less. I hope my BB order goes through, it's still in processing. :(

You don't know very much do you? This is the last WebOS device you will see. HP are pulling all hardware support for WebOS devices, and, as HP own WebOS, this will be the end of it. There will be no future development, no further updates. Hence, the giveaway price
 
This is worse than being roped in to buy Take That tickets, I actually cared about getting a Touchpad.

CPW (strange they never changed their name) computers have probably melted none of the contact us forms appear to work, phoning them would defeat the purpose of the internets.

Did you get a PC World Order being processed for delivery email, or just the first confirmation?
 
I pre ordered from pc world at full price yesterday, went to pick it up said that they offically they cant give it me since the price hasnt dropped in store and put it to the side for me. Picked up my 32gb & 16gb not long ago waiting for my 32gb model to charge.

yeah but a collect in store. Rang this morning and they said it will be there and the lower price but after seeing someone's reserve get sold - getting a little worried.
 
Pretty sure someone said that the only fail safe reservation system was the Argos one because the system blocks it from being sold at the till, every other place is ad hoc.
 
Misco are saying tuned for touchpad announcements, do they realise there own webiste is down and there currently loosing all their sales over a few touchpads
