Anyone with delivery tracking from Dixons yet?

Also, HP employees were offered Touchpads for £69, confirmed. Even bigger bargain :o
 
Apparently they can't get any more stock, so they have cancelled all outstanding orders(within the last 20/30 minutes). They are not going to relist them, according to customer services.

Cancellation e-mails will be sent so I'm told.

I'll make sure I will get my complaint in before the cancellation comes out then :o
 
I think a lot of the problems across the board is becuase the retailers expected more stock and accepted tonnes of orders, but the reality is most places probably had less than 500 units, if that before the firesale. Aren't they making a mint because they got a rebate from HP on existing stock?

It looks like there will not be anymore stock in significant quantities as well, so the rumours of 200k extra etc don't look like they will happen.
 
My CPW has just moved onto the next stage:
Your order is being processed. Your order should arrive on Thu, 25 Aug 2011.

All this when apparently CPW had no trace of my order and they told me that they had no stock :D
 
Has anyone managed to get a partial refund from Argos yet? I just spoke to someone and she said they haven't decided if they are doing it yet :/

This is contrary to what I was told this morning, I was told to call back when the item arrived and she would process the refund.

Call Argos back, this time they are refunding the difference. Must have had a numpty the first time!
 
Well, that is it for me, stiffed by the Rainforest. CPW doesn't look hopeful as my order no is 4xxx and thus I have added my name to the Wanted section of MM.
 
I phoned EPP to check the order manually and they said it has gone for dispatch and should be with me tomorrow. I haven't had anything other than the order acknowledgement.
