Yes. SDP doesnt cover commuting which is an option from Admiral / Bell / Elephant, you need SDP+C.

I had this with admiral, when I reduced my annual mileage they put it to SDP. Phoned them back, extra £15 to get back to business cover.

I do sympathise with the woman, I recently discovered my car was only insured for social and domestic, not entirely sure wether it was my fault or Admirals but they added the 'commuting' bit at no extra charge (just as well the incident happened on a day off from work!)

You should be angry at the courts and the CPS, not the filth. All the 'filth' do is report and investigate, they have no say over punishment.

Absolutely. He's clearly too stupid to even realise that the "filth" (how old is he, 14?) don't have any say in sentencing or decision to prosecute.

The insurer is obliged to provide cover for third party injuries and property, but in this situation they can recover their costs from the policy holder.
