I don't use a lockscreen but I did check it out before disabling all lockscreens and it is nice :p
 
That's just one guy's customisation by the looks of it or an old version. Mine looks absolutely nothing like that.

i was n the same situation and didnt wipe and have had no end of problems.

wipe definately seems to be the better option. if i can actually work out this backing up malarky im gunna wipe and re-install it.
 
So is Batista the current ROM of choice? Been running stock KF3 with Ninphetamine kernel for a while now, and just fancy a change. :)

I've tried about 10 different roms since having my SGS2 2 months ago & found Batista70 the best so far. As I said earlier in the thread it has a nice mix of customization, overscroll glow, crt off animation & the lock screens are cool I love the sense 3.0 one.

Phone is very quick at booting up & very fast inside the OS no slow down at all. Battery life seems to be the best I've had also.

In the end of it all though its personal choice really.

See all of your photos (mainly the ones of your case/room), the HDR shots or whatever it is called :p, can you achieve the same result using adobe photoshop to apply an effect like it or do you need to have that lens that you use?

HDR? none of them are HDR :p you just need the right lighting source(s) really. It can't be done to look the same in Photoshop.

I use a flashgun or two for all my indoor shots.
 
Ah, I don't have a clue what you call all these types for photos :p

And fuuuuuuuuuuu, no way at all :(

Guess I have to stick with my crappy i5700 for now!

Does your camera have a flash on it? You can use a piece of white card to bounce the flash off the ceiling - Effectively you could get similar results if you're in a room with a white, low roof line!
 
I just did a batista70 flash and first impressions are great as mentioned the HTC sense lock is a god send

however I'm not sure I wiped phone properly coz when it booted lighning rom wallpaper was still there???? what did i do wrong - booted to emergency recovery wiped/restored phone and partition cahche - did I miss soemting? thanks!!!!
 
Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this but does anyone have any good tips for the best contract out there for the S2?

I've noticed that Tesco Mobile (who use o2's network) are doing a 24 months deal at £25 p/m for 750 mins, 5000 texts and 500MB internet usage....but the phone is £50 up front!

Anything better than this out there?

Unfortunately no :(

I have a room where a bit of the ceiling is slanted and it is pure white! BUT NO FLASH!

Thanks for the tip though, will come in handy :)
 
Hmmm... weird battery drain issues the past few days.

The first dip is me at a work quiz and then taking the tube (red signal bit) home.
Then I charge it for a bit, and the second dip is it while I slept, in flight mode with no apps running. WTH was my battery taking such a beating?

The first dip was pretty much just idle with an hour of SD video watching on the tube.

Second dip is idle with flight mode.

Third is an hour and a bit of comics and music.

This is using KF2, as I have been for over a month.

Looks like I will be giving Batista a go over the weekend.
