Isn't the LTE for the US? Sprint, Virgin, T-Mobile etc etc?
Was delayed by a single day because of Hurricane Irene.

I'm in need of some basics here guys. I'm flashing my phone all over the shop not being able to decide on a rom. I started getting random reboots with Batista70 and so have gona back to lightening 6.1 as I seemed ok with that. However just read that you can change the kernels to different things and apparently speedmod28 is supposed to be great with lightening.
I'm following this thread very closely as its full of poeple learning like me but KERNELS is new stuff now. What are they?
For record (gonna need analogies) ROM is like an OS right? Firmware I guess BIOS? Buw whats kernels? thsnkd

Besides that, i'm unsure myself fully on what a kernel is, however i know for a fact you need one
let me know if u rate it, i did try a rom last month with kitchen options, but when it got to the cook stage it tried to get me to part with cashpremium members only
Been playing with it the last 4 hours.
Things I like:
- The Revolution App so you can install all kernels/modems/mods/updates via a single app and all in one go too.
- The above app does have stock themes/icons and animations available as an option so you can have it looking completely stock.
- Seems stable, fast.
- Choice of boot animations. I have the BIOS boot animation set.
Things I don't like:
- One of the mods ( I think it was the MDPI dialler/phone section) caused the phone to boot but had no homescreen so I had to reflash the ROM. reflashing the ROM keeps all apps/settings but all mods done via Revolution revert to the stock ROM ones so you need to re-apply any mods you did beforehand.
I don't think anything MDPI works on our handsets anyway so best stay away from that section
I'll monitor battery life over the next 24 hours and see how it differs to Batista 3.7.2.
Oh and the Revolution Kitchen app does not require you to pay or be a member of anything either.
I like the ROM, if battery life is as good as Batista then I will keep this.

Strange been using Batista70 since 3.6 and now on the latest and not had a reboot or force close in a few weeks.
This phone continues to amaze me with the updates it gets. I decided to have a tinker with CM7 but it's far too unstable for me to consider using yet so I reverted back to stock and updated to KH3 doing a full wipe. I noticed there was a firmware update for the camera in Samsung Apps posted on 27th August so decided to give that a go with the stock camera app. I was using the hacked camera APK that fixes the sound problems but they volume was always way too loud, now they've hit the nail on the head with it!
YouTube nerfed the quality quite badly in this video. I've uploaded it to my web space for a friend just to he could see how amazing it came out before it was nerfed lol. I can't believe how well it transitions between looking at a very bright screen and looking at him playing in low light conditions without losing focus or skipping frames.

Hey, which camera apk is this? I'm assuming it replaces the one in the system/apps/ folder right so you need root.
It's the stock one from KH3. If you flash the full package it replaces what ever one you have in /system/apps . They've upped the quality to 44.1Khz but the audio bitrate is still quite low. I can't say it is much of a problem as you can see from the video it is very good

I think the guy playing has played that song perhaps 5 times at most, but like me he's been playing for years. I've been playing for about 6 years and he's been playing for about 8 years.

Just bought one of these on 02. Had a voucher for £75 off and managed to get a contract for 24months at 21.50. 200min infinite txts and 500Mb data. Phone was 104.99 before voucher. Only problem is I've noticed there is what looks like backlight bleed in the bottom left corner of the screen. Its not visible in the normal menus but quite noticeable to me when playing movies and in darker images
Not sure if I can take it back and get a replacement without the defect.
Anyone else had this issue?

did u get it from o2 online? just say its got back lightbleed and you want it swapped.
no bought it in store - had too as i couldn't redeem voucher online.
