New idea.

Is there a possibility that everyone's chests would be teleported to a storage world? We would have a new map, and people would be allowed 2 weeks to transfer their builds in to SP.

I don't think anyone has to worry about a map reset anytime soon. I can't confirm this as we have no idea what 1.8 and bukkit is going to be like yet. But as I've said many of times my best guess is when 1.8 comes around we will have a 1.8 map as the default map, then the current map will be called the old map where it will be accessible via portals. Much the same as how multiworld works on our server now (creative world etc).

Items will be staying also with them most likely being transferable between worlds, unless there are some limitations. I'm also guessing that the 1.8 world with have more of a chance of getting reset for 1.9 or other updates as players will demand the latest build, again I don't think anyone has any ideas about this yet as we have no idea what 1.9 will bring.

So any chance of moving any of the structures over and will we be able to setup a portal to our previous world or will it be one central portal back to 1.7..say at the main spawn...

I ask because I would really like to be up to date and playing on the same map, but also want to continue my build.
 
At a guess I would think there is zero chance of an admin moving anyones builds. You either leave it on the 1.7 map or make it again on the new 1.8 map.

Probably 1 portal to 1 point in the 1.7 map (but you will still have access to your /home command.

Again, all as a guess.

You will need to add your MC username to the group again. Once done, let us know and we'll whitelist you.
 
Ok its done, same username and mc name; booshfan91. Just want to say thanks for allowing me to come back to the server, much appreciated, i wont make you regret it :)
